Derek, never heard of the glass of piss story, but she threw a glass of water in Polanski's face during the Chinatown shoot. However, she was provoked: several hairs (on her head!) were catching the light, so he walked over and yanked them out.
Actually, this sounds more like something loopy MacLaine would do.

I have a Faye Dunaway Story--We were in pick-up tix line for an Al Pacino Play years ago-it was a 'Special Performance' for a good cause & she cut ahead of all of us with "He's a friend of mine I must get in.."..all sorts of DIVA crap..CUT TO INSIDE: I'm seated RIGHT behind her and Adam Duritz(from Counting Crows) is to her left w/a friend. Faye refused to sit next him & how dare they seat her with "the regulars" she wanted the front row or she was leaving...on & on--a HORROR of a woman!!

Things got really ugly between actress Faye Dunaway and director Roman Polanski on the set of “Chinatown.” The pair reportedly fought constantly during the 1974 shoot, which culminated in Dunaway throwing a cup of urine in Polanski’s face after he refused to let her use the bathroom during filming. -

I attended a rehearsal of a project Dunaway's boyfriend of the time was directing. She arrived toward the end and quietly seated herself. No one knew it was her except those of us given a head's up by friends in the cast. This was just after she hit the scene with Bonnie and Clyde. No diva present at all.
@Derek...Oh! I think you gotta be hella mad to throw urine. Any chance he deserved it? For the record, she denies, denies, denies. My reply button is zonky today.
