This former B list mostly television actress from a hit network show back in the day is in an acting family. She recently had to be paid to attend a reunion photoshoot because she and the cast can't stand each other. They did a good job of faking it for the television cameras that filmed the reunion though.

Candace was in only a few episodes....maybe it was Chelsea Noble(kirks wife) in the reunion- Return of the Seavers.I think Tracey Gold was tight with cast(supported her through her struggles over years, I believe?)

Justine had an eating disorder issue during Family Ties IIRC that she has been public about. That probably colors her view of that time and the show and it's people if she was suffering with it as a young woman.
Justine also sounds bitter b/c: "she was unable to attend College due to her contractual obligations with "Family Ties".Accding to Bateman in 2014,she was informed by the Studio's Line Producer,Cheryl Himes, "You're under contract under Paramount Studio". " {From Her Wikipedia Page}
She can attend college now, either take courses or hire a tutor for her interests. It's never too late.
She actually IS in College now. She graduates next year in May, 2016.
