People should take Tina turner as an example. She toured forever, into her 60's then she retired to Europe to live a lovely, dignified life with her husband. Why embarrass yourself trying to stay young?
If it is Mariah, did I not read something a few months ago that she had crazy Lipo to remove the tons of fat from her stomach, and thighs? What, exactly, is WRONG with James Packer? Has anyone seen his last wife's picture? She is drop-dead gorgeous. Whn those photos came out this weekend of Mariah actin' the fool, my immediate thought was, 'He's dumped her. For the last 30+ years, records a new CD every 5-10 years. Tours for a year. Then quietly goes back to her horse farm in England where she lives a life of quiet dignity.
You never hear smack about her, yet she is one of the most successful female artists of the last 50 years.
Just proves, if you want to be successful and humble, it can be done. Don't be screaming about drama when you reside in its vortex.
I love sade with a never ending love. I was raised on her albums, Whitney , Mariah , Mary j blige . This generations Sade is Adele.Adele will be here for 50years. She does minimal stunting and is the anti-taylor swift. Adele gets the job done with her talent ( a novel concept)
I've always wondered about Mariah's sanity. Her choice in husband number 2 seemed odd even for her. She's got the diva thing down though. I hate to see her go down like that though. I doubt Mariah would give back the ring though. Don't see that happening whether they marry or not. Mariah as a stepmother...mmmn...all things possible.
Well, we're all getting old...no need to get desperate and dress like lil Kim.
Adele is fantastic, and I enjoy her music, but Sade is just someone incredibly special and meaningful and my oasis, Frosty. I put on a song like "Kiss of Life" or "Is It A Crime", and I just go somewhere no other singer can take me. And it figures my favorite singer would be a woman who disappears completely for a decade at a time, and you can't find any news about no matter how well you Google.

Quite literally, one of my all time favorites that I saw live(for the first time at about age 14(youngest there lol). She has always been the most gorgeous combination of soulful talent, enigmatic beauty, class, with just enough mystery...which goes a long way. I would drink her bath water :)

And no, I haven't seen the skit with Wanda Sykes but I will look for it. I find her very funny(always have), so I have no doubt it's hilarious. You know one of the reasons she( Helene)is hyper private (I have heard), is because she battled with demons(alcohol I believe) and has been sober a long time. So she does her music and lives her quiet life , as you've said, and stays under the radar. Has a daughter I believe- very beautiful like Mom:)
