I think the point being made is her parents don't care about her, she supposedly has a heroin habit, is "yachting", and has a much older boyfriend. The least of her problems is Justin Bieber. The blind though, is written just to write yet another negative story about Bieber.

If you subscribe to the theory that some people have a dna susceptibility to drugs and alcohol and that her biological parents had drug addiction issues. I'm sure Brenda focusing on hubby Lionel's affair did not help a teen in need of attention. But this happens to regular folk as well.
I grew up not far from Diane Alexander. She was VERY publicly dating a married Lionel while she was still in high school. Clearly these people have no issue with the underage thing.
Married, and a much bigger age difference. 17year olds have always dated older.
17 is not underage. Even if the "legal|" age is 18 where you are, there is no raping going on here.

Its weird because Sofia is a teenager but Bieber is being way too extra with her almost on purpose just to stir up mass media attention on them. I kinda of feel they might be hooking up but with the constant paparazzi I am also feeling that it is more PR than anything which is dumb because she is a f**king TEENAGER!!!
