Sometimes to posses a famous Di*K comes with a duty. The guy is shallow. Lacks of charm. But hey.. he needs to use it on celebs.
If he was casting girls aside right and left while married, that would have come out. Scorned women aren't usually quiet.
There was something going on between Chris Martin and Kate Bosworth, and what really sucks is, she was the one who payed a heavy price. Besides losing career opportunities and being the It Girl of the late oughts, her friends shunned her (which they should - they were all part of GP's social circle). It was ugly. I felt sorry for her.
At the time when he and Goop got together, Coldplay was a one-album wonder and Gwyneth was the at the peak of her career as the Queen of Miramax.
Martin married up, power-, money-, and fame-wise. Coldplay would never have become as big as they did without the fame boost his marriage to Goop gave the band.
She has terrible taste in men. I admit I always thought of her as a vapid fameho. She got with Alexander Skarsgard and I found them a very odd couple; he claims he loves privacy, but got together with a girl who gets papped constantly and gets paid to walk red carpets/attend fashionshows instead of her acting. But the way he treated her in public.. omg. It was so sad to see.. They were at Coachella and he tried his best to not get photographed with her, like he was ashamed of her. She followed him like a puppy, he was drunk out of his mind and looked pissed off most of the time. I felt so sorry for her. I used to love Askars before that, but after that... He seems like a huge hypocrite; 'I don't want to be a sex symbol' but talks about being naked and loving sex all the time. Wants his privacy but dated Kate Bosworth, who was papped constantly. Now he dates Alexa Chung.. Kate does seem happy with her current husband though, good for her. She seems like a sweet person.
I see him as a nerd who never got any girls, so now uses his fame and money to get chicks,but deep down doesn't give a shit about them, he just likes to feel popular.. Kinda like Jonah Hill uses Dicaprio for getting pussy.
There have also been rumors of him and Natalie Imbruglia in a longterm affair, and him banging Alexa Chung.
(Now I think of it; why does Alexander Skarsgard keep dating Chris'sloppy seconds? First Bosworth, now Chung.. What's next, the Goopster?)
