Dornan isn't promoting The Fall, that was months ago. And from what I know no one on the red carpet ever asks him anything about his wife. If its a big premier that attracts a lot of people the wife is usually there with him. This was probably intended to be Cumberbun but little did Enty know the wife would show up on the carpet with him about 5 months prego. Redmayne has also been promoting a movie sans wife, so could be him also.

They live in an ancient mansion, I am told, that has been in the family for generations. This is Dornan. He's been recently promo'ing The Fall, Jadotville and Anthropoid. He gets really nervous talking to press about his wife on the red carpet. He has minimal ability to filter and deflect uncomfortable questions. There's credible gossip he and the wife are legally separated or divorced. Won't be announced until after the FS sequels premiere.
If we're being honest, I kinda agree with you. Redmaynes just had a baby in May or June, and Hannah isn't an actress and has pretty much stayed out of sight from the get-go except for the obligatory RCs. Cumberbatch just showed up with a PG wife - those of us still connected to Planet Earth pretty much expected that at their ages, they wouldn't wait too long before having a second.

A London-based (or visiting) sceptic shot a video of Ben and Sophie at the National Theatre in London on 15th September 2016. Sophie is visibly pregnant in the video. ALL the sceptics have seen the video and it's been passed around privately, but they've all steadfastly kept it private and not posted it to any of their blogs. Which is unusual since they usually never miss a chance to post anything they can brag about having or twist into being anti-Sophie.
As you can imagine this video sent the "sceptic community" into meltdown. They've spent the past few weeks on red alert trying desperately to find some way to debunk the video or to prove that it's an old video dating from her first pregnancy, or just trying desperately to keep the existence of a video of them two of them together on a private date a secret. Last night's announcement did not come as a surprise to them, simply the confirmation of a horrible shock.

I had never heard of those crazy conspiracy loons until my cousin told me about them a year or so ago. When I heard this news I popped out to that Gator person's tumblr to see if they were still obsessed, and holy freaking crap! It is so funny--there are all these posts about how they're not fans anymore and they're in a frenzy because he said something about fans who don't believe his marriage is real in some interview? Good heavens--those people need a life! I mean, the actor they're obsessed with apparently publicly called them out and they STILL won't move on and find something or someone else to focus on? You could only see their backs in the vid and Sophie is wearing this bright yellow skirt that she's been publicly photo'd in a few other times. It's hard to believe he doesn't "keep her in nice clothes" (his words) for a trip to the theater, so that's why it's thought to be old.
Anyway you couldn't see shit for her stomach in the video and no one links it because the video has been taken down. It was hosted on imageshack for about 2 weeks and is no longer available. Nice try on the spin though.
