He's way beyond hearthrob status, I would imagine - he's 38 and hasn't aged well. His music hasn't been a critical or commercial hit recently - "Can't Stop The Feeling" came out in 2016.
N´Sync fans, I would imagine, are not pleased that he's refused to get the band back together so they could tour like the Backstreet Boys.
I'm not sure who Timberlake's public is now. He did just finish a big tour, so I guess somebody's out there for him.
He grooms 12 year old boys for the next generation of rent boy bands.
Agree Nutty - was just thinking the same. Because JT's personality sucks, nobody really loves him like people do for Bette Midler or Cher, even Prince or George Michael - these people have souls.

Justin Timberlake deserved to be thrown under a bus right after he did the Prince tribute at the Super Bowl. Disgusting! How dare he! Not to mention that he tried to latch on to Bowie, by saying that he inspired ‘Sexy Back.’
He’ll use anyone, not just women. And if he thinks he has even 1/10th if the talent of Prince or Bowie, he’s totally deluded.

I can’t believe I had a crush on him a few years back. He comes off as such a douchebag. Same with Adam Levine.
He can dance, and he can pull off a skit. HOWEVER, I'm still peeved that he got away from the Janet Jackson debacle unscathed! "Wardrobe Malfunction" came into the collective vocab from his weasely, panicked apology/defense press release. I'm surprised the collective howls of BS didnt cause some sort of seismic shift. Who believed that he was supposed to tear at her outfit in that area, and it WASN'T supposed to expose her bejeweled breast? NO ONE! This was at the height of her everything has to be sexy and have shock value era, and I dont believe for one second that he didn't know. Thank you, that is all.
I didn't mind him in the one movie I vaguely remember him doing and the SNL skit wasn't terrible, but otherwise? He had ramen noodle hair and wore matching jean suits with Britney, and he acted like he was all innocent in the Super Bowl thing. Blandie Biel is prettier than he is, and that probably drives him nuts.

What’s ironic is that, despite his flailing career, he still refuses to entertain the idea of an *NSYNC reunion performance. Backstreet Boys are still raking in serious money ever since they got back together, and Ariana Grande bringing them sans JT on stage for Coachella was probably the most talked-about surprise guest performance of Weekend 1. A reunion show would be an easy cash cow.

I actually think JT is an okay actor. But what really pissed me off were the Prince tributes. I mean with all the really great and talented people Prince worked with like Morris Day for example why the hell did they parade all those idiots out to do the tribute i.e.: JT and Madonna. It was so unbelievably inappropriate and disrespectful of who Prince was.
Justin Timberlake. He used Britney and the breakup for a hit single (his first single wasn't Cry Me a River, it was a different song that did not really take off and is pretty forgotten), and he threw Janet under the bus at the Super Bowl. He also treats his former band mates like they are beneath him. He's not a nice guy by the sounds of it.
I saw people saying that they would see NSYNC reunion without JT, and I kinda hope it happens! I'll get my tickets and a new album. JC was the better one in the group anyway and still is.
I'm not sure what is left of Justin's career but his album bombed and his acting career is long dead.
