Back in the day, the famous writer/director was well known by actresses to say this during casting calls. If the answer was yes, it was often followed by: "I think we're going to need to see that today."
The proposed scenes were in almost every script, but not every actual movie - some of them teen-centric flicks after all. The scenes did however find their way into three - all the same type of movie, and the latter two involving a film within a film.
By the time of his most famous and successful flick, he was pretty powerful in the industry, and had it put in his contract. Despite that, the studio boss called him personally to say he couldn't this time. "It's a f*cking family movie ****" were his exact words.
Maybe the one actress (from the first of the three movies) should've said to him instead: go do your own front.
