I have definitely seen Mischa Barton look a great deal worse.
Have you ever noticed how Penelope Cruz always has that smirk on her face? Here she is with Sophia Loren and Marion Cotillard.
What I need is a picture of Michael Douglas and Ellen Barkin together. I want to see if either of them is capable of a facial expression at this point.

I really want to like Vera F but she always seems so stern. I watched her on Leno one night and she was really boring and serious. She didn't seem to get any of the jokes he was feeding her (to loosen her up?) and it made me squirm. Can anyone point me in the direction of something that might make me warm to her, because it seems like she is getting more work and I want to try to get past this 'meh' that I feel.

I agree with the comment about stern Vera - something about her rubs me the wrong way, but I'll keep an open mind during Up in the Air.
Day 1 Victoria looked HIDEOUS in that hair THING and awful makeup. I thought she looked MUCH better for Day 2 of Boston tryouts.
Abbie Cornish looks like a cross between Reese and Britney Spears.
Rachel McA is looking kind of...um...wide-eyed. I'll bet sunnyside1213 has a good guess what's going on there ;)
I want to rip that shirt right off Paris Hilton. She has no business wearing it. It should say something more like "I love owning animals that are fashionable"
I could never like Vera b/c I watched that abomination that is The Orphan. Oh dear lord sweet baby jesus. It was awful.

Where has Matt LeBlanc been hiding? Good for him with the gray hair. It looks a helluvalot better than David Coppafeel. Anna Kendrick's dress is gorgeous, but from the hem down is terrible. Penelope usually looks good, but that dress sucks. Maybe she thought why even put in the effort if I gotta stand next to La Loren?
I can't wait to see who shows for the Globes and who has too much to drink. Mariah, that means you.

One reason Rachel M is unrecognizable is because she has washed out everything that made her unique. Once she went blond she faded away.

So, I like the gray hair. I actually enjoy men who start graying early; I find it deeply sexy. I guess that's odd...
I liked Vera in Up in the Air--I though she and George Clooney had fantastic chemistry. It's a shame her personality presents her as a stick-in-the-mud type. I came away from that movie wanting to be her in my thirties, or the her that is present in the vast majority of the film.
I'm not a big fan of Vera F's either. Don't get the appeal. She has what I call "doll eyes" - Heather Graham has them too, but I like her a lot more for some reason.
Treesap Lady (hope you don't mind the abbreviation!) - I like the grey, too. My husband's just now starting to go grey and I really like it! :))
Paris Hilton is an effing moron. She doesn't do anything relevent to deserve the regognition she gets. Money begets fame, begets more money. Actual talent be dammed!

I've liked Vera F.'s work in Touching Evil and Iron Jawed Angels. I think off screen she's just awkward.

As an average midwest movie goer I thought Up In the Air SUCKED George was soo faggy no chemistry with either leading ladies the plot was so unbelievable who likes to travel nowadays?Infedelity between people old enough to know better? Just wrong.I never got sucked into any of it not one bit everybody was doing there best job of 'acting' gosh at least Avatar got my blood up for a lttle while.
And Matt LeBlanc doesn't have to do anything. His royalty checks are huge.

I second all the comments re: Paris. That woman is an abomination. I wish she was banned from having any pets. This sounds harsh but I sincerely hope she rots in hell.

I don't watch American Idol, but I do watch the suditions with my daughter. I think Victoria is a sweetie. Seems like a lovely girl. She just needs a few more pounds and a nice toner for her face.
I agree with whoever said she looked better on day 2 than day 1. Auditions are my favorite part of Idol.

Michael's upset because he found out his wife is older than he thought. The gray looks good on Matt LeBlanc. Plastic surgery or not, Marlo looks great. Rachel resembles a young Cybil Shephard. Love Anna's dress but take away that big, poofy piece at the waistline.
