Denzel Washington gets the top spot today. Here he is meeting with troops in San Antonio. He went to a hospital there to meet with injured troops and while there took out his checkbook and wrote a massive check for a new building. It got one mention on page 3 of a San Antonio newspaper and that's it. (Thanks Stephanie)

THANK YOU for recognizing Ed Westwick as the most delicious man on that show. There's something about him that smoulders when he speaks. I watch that show primarily for his scenes since the rest is pretty weak these days. Even my boyfriend watches to see what he'll wear and has insane suit envy.

Blond-blond hair, body hair, eyebrows and eyelashes on a guy makes me retch.
In the elementary school cafeteria, if I had to sit next to any kid (girl or boy) with super-blond hair on their arms or legs, I could not eat my lunch or else I'd gag. Truth.
I never dated a blond guy more than a few times, and then it had to be darker blond.
I was a natural gold-blond myself with almost no body hair, and funny enough, though...whom did I end up marrying?

I watched GG once and I couldn't stand to 1. look at Ed W and 2. listen to him talk. OMG, I wanted to stick hot pokers in my ears! Maybe there is just something there that I don't get. More power to y'all who think he's hot, at least you have more man candy to look at! :-)
That said, I could look and listen to Paul Bettany all day. I don't generally like blonde men AT ALL, but something about him draws me in. I loved him as Chaucer in that sucky movie that I shall not name. He was also amazing in A Beautiful Mind. Why is he not more famous?

Snark all you want, but the fact remains that Denzel did in fact visit BAMC, he did make a generous donation and he and his wife are on the Fisher House Board of Trustees. This is easily verifiable through the Fisher House or Stars and Stripes magazine. The rest is inconsequential when you consider how many celebrities there are and how many take the time (or money) to do anything remotely as considerate.

My cousin served the last of his 20 years in the military in Iraq doing 4 tours of duty in Sepcial Operations. Kind of sucked knowing that he was almost ready to be mustered out yet had to dice with death for the last 4-5 years. Belive me, even those without visible signs of injury come back wounded.

Stephanie: As a counselor for veterans believe me when I say, no one was speaking ill of supporting the troops, or anything such as that. We were simply pointing out that these pictures and the story were 5 years old, which was documented in the original link. SO regardless of what Denzel has done for Fisher House, that specific story and photo is from 5 years ago, which is why it was odd to hear that story and see those pictures as if they were recent. That's all we were saying.
