Aerosmith Back Together And Going On Tour

Apparently Steven Tyler has been rehabbed and he is ready to work again. What better place to work then back on tour with Aerosmith. The band took to YouTube to announce their new tour. Funny enough it is not called the Social Security tour. Are any of them even in their 50's anymore?

I'm really surprise that Steven Tyler still has a good voice. I'm more surprise by the fact that he can still walk on his own.

Pity the fools who shell out $200 a ticket for this tired old crap.

Seriously. I saw these guys live in 94 and I remember thinking afterwards, "Those guys need to hang it up soon."

Grace Slick once said that no one wants to see old people playing rock and roll. I'm sure someone wants to, but not me.

Speaking of tours, more woes for Whitney in Australia after another bad performance:

I've seen them twice in the last 10 years and they were awesome. The last time I saw them was about 5 years ago....since I heard about him falling on stage I wondered if they'd be close to hanging it up. I love Steven Tyler and Aerosmith though.

For such a brief item, this blog posting is a bit of a minefield for sensitive readers.

Unquestionably: then; Funnily.

Arguably: 50s

Sorry to call you out in the comments but I stubbed my toe on that "then". That an amicus curiæ such as yourself should blunder into a near-homophone error like that suggests his blood-alcohol level has fallen too low prior to his luncheon. You need to get Goldilocks* instanter.

*Not too drunk. Not too sober. Just right.

Jonathan--one question:

W T F ?????

Around here the grammar, punctuation and syntax police are usually not needed, but thanks anyway.

What Catwoman said.

@ selenakyle:

My dear approximate Catwoman,

Given your evident insouciance about capitalization, spacing, and even spelling, it is perfectly understandable that you'd do some claw exercises on my leg in defense of E.L.'s typographical errors.

I thought my remonstrance was gentle and good-natured, ribbing E.L. about his lawyering and bibulousness. Capped with a Goldilocks reference, I should have thought it was readily apparent that the suggested corrigenda were offered in the friendliest of spirits.

I stubbed my toe on that "then". I'm sorry that my crying out "ouch" offends you.

Wishing you and yours good health, happiness, and prosperity.
