Kyron's Parents Blame Step Mom

Kyron Horman's parents were on Today this morning and they are completely convinced that Kyron's step mother knows exactly where Kyron is and are demanding she come clean and tell the police exactly what happened that day. It has been six months and I guess this woman is going to get away with whatever she did that day because Terri Horman has still not been arrested. This is just a tragic case and you know that everyday must be more and more frustrating for the parents because they want answers and they think they know who has them all.

Just because they haven't arrested her yet, doesn't mean they aren't going to. I'm pretty sure in the States there is no statute of limitations on murder. I'd rather them get an airtight case than arrest her all willy nilly like and then have her get off on a technicality.

Oh yeah, one more comment. Do you think that the dad feels completely horrendous about himself cause he brought the woman he thinks murdered his child into the house? My guess is yes.

^^^Yes, and I think he feels guilty that he didn't address the signs that things weren't quite right, and he now claims she had a drinking problem.

Yes, exactly.

As well he should! More and more folks are getting away with this kind of thing. Or so it seems, unless they are building air tight cases. Which I totally agree with. I just don't like to see all the killing. Or harming. It's not good.

I hope Kyron and Zahara are playing together in heaven.

Not having kids myself, I can't even imagine under what circumstance would a parent or step parent would want to murder their own child.

Agree with Sue Ellen Mishkey. They are collecting and confirming evidence and witness statements in order to have a solid prosecution. What they discover and can prove will determine the charge. I have heard murder, manslaughter, or child endangerment. Though law enforcement and the DA have been amazingly silent on the progress of the investigation, a few known things raise a lot of questions pointing to the stepmother's involvement.

Most are resigned to the fact that Kyron died June 4 and is not stashed with someone, though the possibility of child trafficking is a horrible option. A comment by the sheriff has led to the possibility that this case is more involved than just a missing child.

I really feel for the parents and the stepfather, and I hope the answers come soon rather than years from now.

I still can't believe they haven't found him yet. The father must have a tremendous amount of guilt about having brought that woman into his house. I just hope that Kyron didn't suffer. Can you imagine how confusing it must have been to him to have his stepmom do something to him? It breaks my heart over and over. Great. Now I am crying.

I can't imagine how the father feels knowing he had someone like that in his home. That poor child. So sad.

My heart just breaks for the parents. The most frustrating thing in the world has to be knowing that SOMEONE knows exactly what happened to their baby, and won't talk. It would make me just want to break down and scream.

As a parent I can't even bear to watch the video - just too sad and tragic

It's too bad that Kaine couldn't just lock Terri up in a closet until she finally confessed to where Kyron was. Worry about the legal stuff later. Poor little Kyron.

I wonder if Kyron would be more likely found now that winter is approaching and many of the leaves have fallen from the trees and things are more open now.

I am convinced that Kyron and Terri had some kind of altercation just after that famous picture was shot. My theory is that he had an "accident" of some kind and required her taking him home to change him and she lost her temper and killed him on the way home.

Wow...I just watched the video and was surprised at the apparent rift between Kaine and Desieree/Tony. She really blasted him for not telling her the way Terri had been behaving in the home. Although united in their grief and determination and their belief in Terri's guilt, I can see the strain to both of them.

More people get away with committing crimes, especially murder, then don't. Kind of makes you sick.

Unfortunately, MadLyb. You are right.

I would like to see the statistics on that one.

Just sad for that poor sweet boy.

With the Step Moms friend-pleading the 5th, and other people popping up with info, trust that the police are taking their time. They want to make sure that everything is air tight. Tonight on NBC Dateline, they will be doing a story and hopefully someone/somewhere can give the family the missing piece that is needed.
We all hope that he is still alive, but this woman and the others that are involved-yall know that she did not do this by herself-deserve the worse to happen to them.
I feel for his father, family and friends.

that sweet little face breaks my heart...can't imagine what the family is going thru...heartbreaking for the father is an understatement. wow. i wonder how the step-monster can live w/ herself?

I have wanted to drive to one of the events they hold for Kyron just to give Kaine a hug. My heart breaks for the ammount of guilt he must place on himself.

blaming the father does nothing. i'm sure no one ever thinks their partner is going to abduct/kill their child because they are drinking or even acting strange. look at the story in WA state about the stepdad that calmly came down the stairs and slit his 4 yo step-daughter's neck..just cuz. Unless someone is exhibiting homicidal behavior, no one could know.

I heard the news about Zahara this morning..... :( I'm just glad that family will be able to have some closure now that they've found the body.

I wish the same for this family.
