Random Photos Part One

Three parts today.

Kate Moss at 8 a.m.. Seriously.
Kristin Scott Thomas all glammed up in Rome.
Not glammed up at all are LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian over the weekend.
Long time no see on a red carpet for Michelle Yeoh.
Newlywed Nikki Reed in Rome.
She was there with Jackson Rathbone for Twilight 32.
Patrick Dempsey checks out his new car in Malibu. It can be yours for $200K.
The first lesbian high school homecoming couple from San Diego.
Sarah Jessica Parker in Australia. Obviously did not fly Qantas to get there this weekend.
Tara Reid and I think Edward of Jedward and I hate that I can tell them apart.

Wow, I did not expect Nikki Reed to look this good...

The first lesbian couple is super cute, hope this becomes common every-day life, and not news at all.

As for Kate, well, it is always noon somewhere, in some country. Nothing goes better than beer & cigs with your corn flakes in the morning

I know Michelle Yeoh isn't Chinese, but she's big in China, right? Is that a hint about the China blind?

I think Michelle Yeoh is dating a Formula One owner... I think the Ferrari one... can't remember, will google.

Love Nikki's gown, it is gorgeous!

Does it look like LeAnn gained
maybe an ounce to anyone else?

The homecoming couple is gorgeous, and are Kristin Scott Thomas and Michelle Yeoh. I could only pull off mustardy/chartreuse sequins in my wildest dreams.

@RenoBlondee -- I had the same thought about Leann, but I tend to forget about her more or less instantly, so I forgot to mention it. :-)

Slow claps for Leann. I'm glad we don't have to gaze upon her protruding clavicle today.

Congrats to the homecoming couple! That's one small step for women, one giant leap for equality!

Now if only my old high school would crown a non-white Homecoming Queen and stop with all this "Homecoming Maid" bullshit, we could really get somewhere.

The high school couple is adorable.

Nikki, Kristin and Michelle look great.

Dare I say Tara looks pretty good here?

Leann looks almost healthy in that photo - I agree that she must've gained a little weight back. Or maybe it's the clothes.

It's very nice to see the walls of prejudice crumbling and I also hope this kind of thing will be so common that it won't make the national news. But - is it a coincidence that Kim Kardashian's marriage crumbled just after the crowning of the first lesbian prom king and queen? I think not!

Michele Yeoh is awesome!!!!

What and when is homecoming? Recently I was trying to book a hotel in Syracuse for some cross-border shopping but it was booked solid, as was Burlington, VT. Both are university towns so I figured something was going on. Based on American movies and tv that I've watched, I feel like homecoming is around the time of Thanksgiving (early October). Am I correct? And what is it?

Is anyone else finding it kind of unfair that Kate Moss can treat her body so badly but continue to look SO BEAUTIFUL????

Linnea said...

Yeah, totally unfair.

Did Tara Reid get a new nose?

Leann does look better...no protruding bones!

Anita, homecoming is something that occurs at American high schools and colleges, usually around October and November. It's when the graduates of the schools return to campus, see old friends, attend a football game, drink a lot, etc. High schools usually have a dance to celebrate it, too. Most schools elect a "homecoming queen" and sometimes a "king" and a court, usually made up of the stereotypical jocks and cheerleaders. And lots of guys, at least here in Texas, buy their dates these awful mum corsages with long streamers attached to them that you are obligated to wear to the game and the dance, thereby ruining the line of your dress.

^Why would you want to go back to a school you've just left? I didn't even go back for commencement. You can send me that shit in the mail, tyvm.

And are these homecoming "court" people current students, or the ones coming back?

I wouldn't ever go back for a HS Homecoming but I've definitely attended my college ones before. For football! And tailgating! It's fun!

And the Homecoming Court is for current students, SEM. :)
