Kris Jenner Spews Nonsense About Kim Kardashian Wedding & Divorce
I don't think I have ever heard a more ridiculous interview ever. Kris Jenner was on Johnjay and Rich yesterday and she is probably still dizzy from all the spinning she did. When she finished, I expected the heavens to open up and for someone to make Kim Kardashian a saint right then. Just put her right up there next to Mother Theresa and Oprah and call it a day.
In the interview, Kris says her daughter is 30. Actually Kim is 31. (Spin #1) She also says it was news to her that Kim was going to file for divorce. Uh huh. Lets see. You spent most of one week with her two weeks ago in Dubai and it never came up? Not once? You said before you talk to Kim multiple times each day and it never came up? I find that really hard to believe. (Spin #2)
She also said that Kim is not the first person to get a divorce. However she failed to mention this is divorce number two for Kim. (Spin #3)
Kris also took the opportunity at all times during the show to make sure she plugged all of the television shows that Kim and her other daughters are on as well as E! and the network in general. She sounded like a driver for NASCAR. (Spin #4,5,6)
Probably the biggest spin of all was what she said about the wedding. She said, "She didn't make a dime off of this wedding. She actually spent millions of dollars on this wedding, so it's not something that she thought would ever not be happily ever after." Umm, I don't care what kind of nonsense you feed the IRS about expenses and such, the fact is Kim walked away with millions of dollars from the wedding. Everyone has said it and everyone has reported how much was spent by sponsors but not Kim. If you say she did not make one dime off the wedding then you need to sue every tabloid who says Kim made millions because we are all going to say it everyday. There is no way on this earth that Kim personally spent millions of dollars on the wedding. There just isn't. (Spin #7)
Finally, Kris was asked about Kim giving her wedding presents back. Kim would never give anything back. Instead, Kris says that Kim will make a donation to an organization. (Spin #8)

I don't know, I think if I gave some lavish gift to someone, I'd be pissed if they kept the gift after their two month farce of a marriage, and instead gave some sort of donation to charity. Assuming they do.
Kim's trying to get sympathy by saying all she really wanted was to be married and have babies. If that's what she really wants, she could give up her various enterprises and go somewhere and find a guy and do that very thing. I'm sure she has enough to live on for the rest of her life. And apparently some people find her attractive. I think she's odd looking, myself.

Those girls should me much nicer to Kris than they seem to be on TV (ouch, how do I know this??). That women just lied through her teeth to make Kim look good.
And I would want my gift returned to me. Making a generic donation to charity does not replinish my bank account with what was spent on your bogus wedding gift.
And what about the reports that she had lunch with Reggie Bush two days before the news came out?
I think it's bullshit she's not returning the gifts. Maybe her wedding guests want their money back? Or want the money to go to a different charity. Actually that's a great idea. She should call each of the individual 400+ guests and have them designate where the $$ should go.

I agree with everyone on returning the gifts. When I read that she was donating money to charity I almost spit out what I was eating.

For the record, I've never seen the show, except for an excerpt posted on Gawker when Kim had lost an earring. I've said it before, don't know why these people are newsworthy.
I really hope this backfires on them. I've only seen clips of the show on "The Soup" and can not for the life of me understand how Kim has fans.
If anything good can come out of this, may it be the end of the young public's love affair with the Kardashian's and all similar type of celebrities and "reality" lifestyles.
You know that thing some people do when they're lying - when they're looking at you but they blink, and their eyes stay closed for a little longer than they should? That's what Kris just did when she answered the questions about "were you surprised about the divorce" and "did you know they were having problems". She didn't do it after that. Pretty much said everything Enty wrote about. I dunno...

Two of my favorites are The Station Agent and The Visitor. They are both written and directed by Tom McCarthy, and both are character studies and extremely moving.
The Station Agent stars Peter Dinklage, Bobby Cannavale, and Patricia Clarkson.
Richard Jenkins (Nathanial Fisher from Six Feet Under) received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his revelatory performance in The Visitor.
Strongly recommend both.

I find it hard to believe Ryan Seacrest & E didn't know about the marriage farce. Perhaps Kim & Kris were supposed to stay together longer & draw out the drama for ratings & publicity?

Little Miss...I agree. Those are some of the better movies I have seen. For some reason, "Never Let Me Go" was very profound to me. Loved Cary Mulligan and the music was haunting. Is is on the same par as Station Agent? Not really but it still remains with me.

Kris changed her story on her "Today" interview this morning. Now she says she knew a couple days before Kim filed for divorce, because, you know, they are close and talk all the time. Though it's hard to do now that Kim is in Australia and her mom is in New York, so that means Kris can't answer many questions and tells everyone that answers have to come from Kim.
But she stuck with the story that Kim had to pay for stuff. Whatever. Even if she did, there were so many sponsorships in there that I'm sure it made up for it. Does momma Kris not know how to do math? She's pretending like she's ignorant to anything money related, but you know that woman knows exactly what their bottom line is and every number is in the black. Especially given her 10% that she so craves from her children.
Thank you for mentioning that this is Kim's second divorce, Enty. I'm so sick of the media ignoring that gigantic fact. Why didn't she get her "fairy tale" wedding for the first marriage? You know, the one she had wanted and dreamed of her whole life? Oh yeah...the sex tape hadn't come out yet. No sponsorships and no one paying her for it. What a disappointment for her. The cheapness of the wedding probably lead to her first marriage lasting only a quick 3 years.

I make it a rule to not post on Kardashion posts because the more hits they get, the longer they'll stick around. It's not like bloggers look at the number of comments and say, "gee, there are more negative comments than positive, I'll start posting." No, they just see numbers and if the Kardashion stories get 100 comments saying, "go away," they'll stay because that is traffic.
BUT, I have to mock what that woman is wearing. Alone, the leopard print shirt is hideous and those (turquoise??) earrings are the nastiest things I've ever seen. But together, my Lord my eyes are sore because it's just too much to take in.

These people have no souls. None. Nothing. They are empty shells. I wish this was their undoing, but they have a LOT of fans, and those people obviously have no taste ANYway, so while this will tarnish their reputation with many people, it won't be their undoing. Their fans will keep them going for many years to come. Unfortunately.
I agree that she should give back the ring and the gifts (especially the gifts). If she keeps the gifts and instead donates $200,000 (that's the figure I heard) to charity, she gets to claim it as a tax deduction.

Another obvious lie in this interview is where she said, "...it's not something that she thought would ever not be happily ever after." Um, Kim has already come out and released her own statement saying she was already not sure about the wedding before it happened, but didn't want to disappoint everyone. Disgusting, whorey liars, all of them.
What I find interesting is that right after the wedding happened in August, the reports started coming out about how they made all that money off the wedding. I was hearing she made upwards of 20 million back then, and that was within days of the wedding. Maybe I just didn't read them, but were there any denials from Kim or her mother then? Funny how since there's a backlash over the marriage being over so quickly that NOW they are denying she made a cent.
I like how Kris is spouting off that people need to stop judging. Well, Kris needs to remember that THEY are the ones who made this a public spectacle - they have made their living off of being the public eye and COURTING everyone to "watch" and spend their hard earned dollars on the trash they put out. IMHO, they don't have the right to ask people not to judge. Sometimes you reap what you sow and public opinion is just one of those crosses you have to bear when you expect the public to fill your coffers.

One movie that I saw about a month ago that I thought was particularly moving was called The Music Never Stopped. It's based on a true story.
