Today's Blind Items
To me, this one is kind of sad. This actress was once a B+. Hit television show, celebrity boyfriend, top of the world. Now, she is probably down to a C, does primarily awful movies and has been wandering aimlessly for what seems like a year. She had some really bad publicity about that time and just has not quite got everything back together. Well, a few weeks ago she started seeing this actor who is A list but probably deserves to be C list because his acting is awful and his movies never make money. When I say she started seeing him, they saw each other one night and then had sex about four hours after meeting. It was like love at first sight for her, but for him, it was just a conquest and someone or something to do that night. Our actress has always latched on quickly to guys and it is one of the reasons she has not had the greatest success in relationships. Guys walk all over her. She tells her friends that she blames her childhood. Anyway, she has been following the actor for the past couple of weeks to everything he attends. She showed up unannounced at his place once, but after his reaction to that she stopped. When he sees her some place and no one else catches his interest he will take her to her place, have sex with her and then leave. If he sees someone else he likes he just ignores the actress and carries on with the other. It is really kind of creepy and kind of sad all at the same time.

The sex must be good. Only time I ever acted that kinda fool was when it was great sex and/or the a-hole had some kind of romantic "hold" over me otherwise.

If this *is* JLH, isn't she in her early thirties? Sorry, but I don't have too much sympathy for her. It would be one thing if this were someone Courtney Stodden's age, but Jennifer's a big girl now, and she's old enough to know when she's getting played. Or maybe she just wants to get laid? Whatever. This is the same chick who picks out her own engagement ring within a few months of each new relationship.
Also, wasn't there a blind a few years ago about an actress who only pursued men who happen to be in committed relationships, and JLH was the all-but-confirmed answer? If so, eff her.
I'm more interested in who the dude is. And if SHIA is considered A-list and Kate Winslet, infamously, is NOT, I'll be flabbergasted.
JLH primarily bad movies? I thought she was primarily TV, but then I don't watch anything she does.
@Linnea -- I believe it was her "I'm a size two!" comments after People ran that unflattering picture of her in a bathing suit. She most definitely is NOT a size two. There's nothing wrong with being larger than a stick, but she went on to preach about having physical self confidence and being proud in her own skin, blah blah blah. Bitch, PLEASE.

I don't think Shia is A or at least I won't admit it. Any movies JLH has made recently have been for Lifetime as far as I can remember.
while i would love for this to be JLH, it can't be. she hasn't done a movie since the second Garfield in 2006. (unless you count the movie she voiced in 2008) But still, with Ghostwhisperer and all the TV movies she's done in the past few years she can't be qualified as "primarily movies".
Yeah. I also don't get the feeling that Enty cares for JLH at ALL, so the whole sympathetic wording of this blind didn't exactly bring her to mind.

Halle has an Oscar, and I can't see her begging for sex -- it seems like she's have a line of willing suitors stretching around the block. I don't think it's her. It seems like someone younger.
That said, I have no idea. Again: I'm more interested in who the guy in question is.

Sounds like they deserve each other. Really, there is such dysfunction on both sides in this description that you have to think that they both enjoy it--the disrespect, the stalking--in some twisted way.
Only actor I can think of whose A list but his movies don't do so well is Ryan Reynolds but supposedly he's dating Blake Lively.
I say supposedly bc I don't want to believe in that relationship.
What about Kate Bosworth for the actress? I looked up her IMDB and she did some TV she was an extra on 7th Heaven so the TV stuff really doesn't fit but she got some bad press for "supposedly" running around with Chris Martin right? And she seems like the type who would latch on... I'm not totally sold and i have no guess for the actor but she was my first thought.

She: At best a C minus, primarily shit movies and had bad bad BAD press last year due to her perpetually maturbating husband slash slime ball David Duchovony.
Him: A list due to Oscar for Sling Blade, has a shit band and you'd see totally RANDOM pap shots of the two together. I think I even seen a shot of her loading up band equipment in the back of a truck.
I guess Vanessa Hudgens doesn't count because High School Musical wasn't a show per se, but a movie? Was she on anything on TV besides that?

I really like the Misha Barton/Gerard Butler guess. That totally sounds about right. Gerard certainly doesn't deserve to be an A list, but I think unfortunately is up there. He's a terrible actor.

Totally not JLH or Julia Stiles. I can see this being Mischa Barton, because The OC was a pretty big hit for a while which might have temporarily pushed her to a B+, but I think it's a stretch.

And I feel your pain about the Shia is A list but Kate Winslet isn't: I thought the same thing when everyone guessed Liz Hurley for the engaged woman who shouldn't be engaged screwing her A list ex among many others. Hugh Grant is more like "Who Grant" at this point. At least Shia's films make money. What is Who Grant doing these days?
I like the Rose McGowan guess. Hit tv show Charmed, Celeb Boyfriend Marilyn Manson. Rough patch in the press for running off with the married director. And being born into a cult would probably make for a pretty screwed up childhood. Not sure who the dude would be though
@Bubbles -- Halle was actually in the memorable television masterpiece "Living Dolls" back in the eighties. It was a Who's the Boss spinoff, so you KNOW it was good. But, yeah, I agree with you in that there's no way this is Halle -- and my reason for thinking so is that Halle Berry would NOT have to expend a bunch of effort to get some booty. Please. The woman is a goddess.
@mdgoddess -- As sick and tired as I am of Clooney and his shittacular taste in women...you really think he can't act?! I think he's pretty damned talented -- WAY more interesting to watch than One-Note Depp, for instance. I think he's like DiCaprio in that his personal life often overshadows how good he is as a thespian.
Also, I LOVE it when commenters crap on other people's guesses and offer none of their own. That's terrific. YOU try and come up with something plausible, brainiacs!
Oh, and I like the Rose McGowan guess, but Colin Farrell CAN act. So I don't think he's the dude. I'd go for Butler, if only because he was in Gladiator and that probably bumped him higher than he deserves.

Blake Lively was dating Leo. She had a scandal with naughty cell phone pics earlier this year and had a flop of a movie come out with Ryan Reynolds. She has been spotted the last couple of weeks leaving his apartment and sending gifts to him on set.
Gossip Girl was huge when ot first cane out but isn't responding to fans as well anymore.

Julie, that is what I was thinking too. I think that is a strong possibility. Also, there was that talked about fight she had with Cameron Diaz over Justin Timberlake,and Drew Barrymore had to break it up. On the other hand, I think Rock Queen nailed it!Winona Ryder.And the guy is probably her ex boyfriend, Johnny Depp. Someone said Johnny Depp has an open marriage. Johnny Depp seems like the type of sleaze to do that.
