Angelina Jolie Starves Herself For The Poor People In The World
US Weekly has a report that say that the reason Angelina Jolie is so skinny is that she starves herself not for vanity but because she feels so sorry for the starving people of the world that she feels compelled to also not eat. Uh huh. So how does she explain everything else she has or does that poor people don't have. If she was feeling so empathetic then shouldn't she give up every penny of her money to live like the poor people of the world? Wouldn't that be a more powerful message than just not eating very much. This "story" came from someone close to Angelina so it is probably a crock and designed to get people to stop speculating that she is back at the drugs again or something and focus on her humanitarian work which mainly consists of wearing local garb and posing for photos.

If she cared so much about starving people, she could easily donate some of her many millions to the World Food Bank or Red Cross to feed them all. Or, you know, not carry around a $10,000 Louis Vuitton purse as she strolls through the slums of third world nations.

The wearing local garb and getting photographed thing is the point of her position with the UN. They wanted someone that people would be interested in enough to look at the pictures and maybe learn about what is going on. She's successful at it, so I'm not sure what that dig is.
I call bullshit on the "staving people of the world" thing. She clearly has body issues, but her weight seems stable now.
I guess I don't see why there's vitrol here. She donates money and time to international causes, which is more than I can say for most people, and has body issues, like every other actress.

This is the same mother that moved out and left an infant Angie with her father because 1. daddy was cheating & 2. Angie looked so much like her father she couldn't stand the sight of her.
The same mother that committed Angie to a mental institution. The same mother that had a boyfriend that Angie had sex with.
And these are just a few things that are common knowledge.
I think this is a woman haunted by guilt, with many many secrets that would shock the pants off us.

Yeah this is ridiculouso. As 0 said, she's not only the face of, she also buys Louis Vuitton. I myself am a LV girl and she has MANY of their bags. Most of mine are inherited from my mother, though and I cannot imagine honestly spending the money on that many of them. Fine, one or two if you save for it and its a reward for your hard work.......but I don't believe this trash article for a minute.

I don't know if these "facts" are "common knowledge." They all sound like hearsay created by the likes of Andrew Morton, to me.
Besides, have you seen a picture of Marcheline Bertrand? Jolie certainly resembles her dad, but she and her mom are carbon copies of each other.
My main complaint about Jolie is how she's only great when she's playing crazy. She doesn't have a lot of range. Can you imagine her pulling off a comedic role, for instance?

MISCH, I couldn't ever figure out why Angie always praised her Mother and trashed her Father? I don't think either one would get a parent of the year award, but Angie has always gone overboard with her Mother. I always wondered if it was the need to please the unloving parent?
I believe Angie became very close to her mother in her later years and losing her to cancer was a huge blow as it would be for anyone. Perhaps she feels cheated she did not get more time with her and she's overcompensating. Who wouldn't do that?
I get tired of hearing how angelic she is. She seems to have no problem carrying $5,000 bags and wearing designer clothing.
she also says she never got plastic surgery, so it must be the eye doing tricks when one looks at old pictures of her and her nose is twice the width it is now.
I'm not an Angie fan in the slightest but this just sounds like bullcrap.
On the plastic surgery, there used to be a site that showed all the before's and afters of the famous...Angie has had a lot done but she's done it over a period of time and so it's not so dramatic. But if you go back to early photo's you'll see it..
The nose ( a beautiful job) her jawline, she has scars behind her ears could be the pinned back or could be from the work on her jaw. And her cheekbone are broader she has a more feline look now...I must say it's really good work.
But then so is Jennifer Aniston's she has also done it a nice amount of work.
And I think Brad has had a bit done himself.
And last but not least the filler and the botox...every big event they get that look...you know the one..all puffed and ironed.
But what I don't understand is the waxy, glowy make-up Angie wears...I wonder what thats all about.
This story has been out there for so long, when she first started getting skinny. Is her team recycling stories now?
All her raving about her mother is more proof of what a nut she is. She once said she lost all that weight because her mother died, yet she was just as skinny before and just as skinny since. And it sickens me how she talks constantly about how much she loved her mother! She was off traveling the globe for most of the time her mother was dying - she was only with her at the bitter end. What a great daughter!
I know people hate her but I don't. A political correspondent who was based in Saravejo during the time of the war saw her movie and interviewed her for Newsweek. She went in very cynical but she was blown away by the movie and the accurate details, including the safest time to go shopping was in the morning when all the military were sleeping off their hangovers, and commented AJ really knew her stuff which impressed her. Colin Powell and other leaders have said the same thing. I like her. When she travels she packs her own gear that she will need. Like flashlights, waterproofing, etc. She admits the photos are a necessity but they bring results.
Yes she needs to gain weight, but I've known super skinny people who ate like a pig. Don't know if that's her. I'm sure she's got many issues and yes she knows her public but she's not the devil.

I first began reading this blog because other sites linked to CDAN blinds. But when was the last time an EL blind was proven CORRECT? Even the "reveals" are questionable.
It's interesting to note how many of his posts bash men, contrasted with how many posts are designed to target women for various grievances. Aren't there plenty of male celebrities who are cheating on their SO's, doing hard drugs, driving intoxicated, treating their staff like crap, engaged in hypocritical activities, etc?

Yesterday, or was it the day before? I was thinking about how great the posts were a few years ago when I first started reading this site and how they all seem nasty and critical now. The reason I loved this site was because it was gossipy without being nasty and petty. This is just nasty and petty like all the others.

I think someone just pulled that article out of their ass. I'm not really an Angie fan, but I do admire how much she and Brad put out their money and faces towards many good causes. Maybe she does it for the publicity, or has a "saint" complex, or maybe her intentions are pure, but I don't think the people she's helping really care.

Im with msgirl. I read the interview in which this story is based from and it sounded to me like when she is doing her UN work she doesn't eat or something. I think Enty's trying to make a nonstory into a story, but let's see if someone else starts reporting it that way as well.
I read that she eats the scraps off her kids' plates and drinks tons of red wine. Something like she knows how to eat just enough to stay thin without actually starving. I'm sure age goes thru extreme diet phases before an event or something.

I like Angie. I get tired of celebrities who whine about how the peons should give money to this or that charity, instead of giving their own. Angie really does give her own money and i commend her for that. As long as she helps out charity, I don't care if she wants to buy a Vuitton bag or wear a Dior dress. Donating money isn't an "all or nothing" situation, IMO.
That said, her excuse for being underweight is utter and total bullshit.
