Michelle Parker's Cell Phone Found

Michelle Parker, the woman who disappeared after her episode of People's Court aired is still missing, but police have located her cell phone. Yesterday, police asked Michelle's mom to identify the phone they found but are not telling anyone where they found the phone or under what circumstances. Considering how we all usually keep our phones glued to us at all times this is a big clue. I doubt police found it in the middle of the woods alone by itself.

Michelle has been missing for three weeks, but no one has told her two youngest kids yet. That will be an awful conversation to have. Right now the twins are with their father who remains the number one suspect in Michelle's disappearance. Maybe someone ought to think about getting them away from him. Do you really want something bad on your hands if police go to arrest him and he does something crazy instead of going to jail?

I thought the kids were taken away from the father once they started considering him as a strong suspect. But I could be wrong. Either way, those kids should be kept clear of him. My heart goes out to them, as they've probably lost a mother & could potentially lose their father, too. Tragic.

@Carrie, I thought the same too. Didn't the kids go to live with their grandparents or someone else the moment he became a suspect?

I'm no detective but I'm going to say her husband murdered her, just like on every 48 Hours Mystery show I ever saw. Is it really that hard to resist the urge to murder someone?

This is so fishy...poor thing

...MsCool... Where you being sarcastic about how hard it is to resist committing murder?

I think the children are with her parents. No longer with the dad. Very sad situation.

@Rita - I don't know if I was being sarcastic. I have lots of empathy but it is impossible for me to find a way to identify with someone who commits murder. I don't understand how someone can do it.

Ah... I misunderstood. I read the complete opposite!

Yeah, I agree with you, still don't understand how you kill someone else... I've been enraged before, and wished evil on others. And push came to shove during oh those horribly sensitive puberty years, I thought of ending my life, not someone else's!

@Rita - I know what you mean. In the worst of times, the thought of murdering someone never came to mind.

I resist the urge everytime I drive. The thought of going to prison and having to use the washroom in front of everyone keeps me from going ballistic on the person doing 20 under the speed limit.

Is that Michelle in the header picture? Was that really necessary?

The kids were living with Michele's mother I believe; they went to court and the the judge gave the father the custody even when CPS said he was a suspect! I hope that judge does not have blood on his hands. That was just a stupid decision on the court's part.

Hadnt hear about this case but yeah, it is always the husband huh...

The thought of prison food alone keeps me from killing anyone ever.

To be fair, if the husband hasn't been charged he is innocent until proven guilty. You can't just go around taking people's children away because you have a suspicion. Jesus.

The husband had the kids, they took them away, and then gave them back. He has a very violent history and it's pretty obvious he did it, however, I have a bad feeling he may never get arrested. Most murders are solved within 48 hours. If this guy is such an obvious suspect, what's the holdup? Three weeks is a long time in a murder investigation, I'm afraid the police don't really have anything and he will walk.

The cops have stated he is the prime suspect and with his track record, I'd say err on the side of caution-would'nt hurt if the kids stayed with her mom while this gets solved. He didn't have sole custody to begin with.

If you're a suspect of murder then your kids should be placed in custody of a family member until cleared. Anything else is irresponsible.

blame the judge, he is the one that gave them back to him.

I wonder if the judge beats his daughter with a belt?

Parissuckslitterally must give us that judge's number!
