Katie Holmes cannot do sexy no matter how hard she tries. And who was the touchup artist on this photo? Her cheekbones look like they were painted by number, and her upper arm is waaay disproportional to the rest of her body.

^I was about to show that one too! Yeah, the young Pippa has a somewhat of a party-animal rep. She just cleaned it up a bit when she started getting seriously papped. Taking a page out of her sister's book of lady-like decorum.

To be fair to Rooney, growing out your hair takes time! Her bangs were about a half inch long in the movie - I think they're growing out nicely. I do wish she'd change the color, though. The dark is too harsh. It worked well in the movie with the stark atmosphere, but it doesn't look good in these promo pics.

Yep, Rooney got completely screwed up by playing Lisbeth. She needs to let it go. I've always liked Fincher's stuff, but I think he did a number on her and she's really young and impressionable. I wish she'd also shut her mouth, ragging on every other project she's been on. Honey, this is the talk of the town, but in6 months? And she's going to play Lisbeth again.

completely agree!!! her face looks old beyond its years and plain as hell.
I once thought Katie Holmes would be something - then she got into a contract with Tommy boy and I've since lost all respect for her. You know everything she's gotten since then was because Tommy's peeps were on the phone. She's definitely no Nicole.
Rooney Mara will likely disappear in a year or two. She might be good in 'TGWTDT', but she seems like such an easily manipulated tool. The interviews so far have been a disaster. And she was supposed to be the next big thing, but that didn't really work out so well. Then again, maybe I should see the movie - it might make me change my mind. I need to get a life...

As a guy, a straight one, I find nothing physically appealing about Pippa at all. I don't think she's heinous or anything, just very plain and not worthy of descriptors such as hot or beautiful. There are plenty of more attractive everyday girls out at the bars every weekend.

I feel like Rooney had a little too much of a Method experience on this film, I think she's having trouble extracting herself from this character.
Angelina was like that after Gia and Girl Interrupted. I hope this girl can snap out of it, I feel there is something fragile about her and Fincher seems to want her to live and breathe this role.
Katie does have a condition with her face. Look at Dawson's Creek before she got into Tommy Girl's clutches. She had that weird smile thing. I remember because I have something similar with my face.
