Alexa Vega Is Getting Divorced
Spy Kids actress Alexa Vega announced on her twitter that she is divorced. It doesn't happen that fast since she just filed the papers. But, she did split with her film producer husband. Alex is 23 and her soon to be ex is 36. They married back in 2010 and started dating when Alexa was just a teen. She said they split because of the standard irreconcilable differences. I heard there were some things he did not share with her prior to them getting married that would have kept her from marrying him in the first place. It was doomed almost from the beginning. Alexa keeps plugging away from her career and has finally started to move away from being known only as Carmen Cortez.

I just can't get over how they are all trying to grow up so fast and it's definitely catching up with them. Miley and Alexa both don't look their age. The both look like later 20s. I don't know if it's the smoking, tanning, and drinking, but it all adds up. They are going to look rough when they get older if they keep going at this rate.

My kids were into the Spy Kids movies so I have a soft spot for her.
If you look at their age difference, if they were dating in her teens, he was still in his thirties. It's not always the case, but I find a lot of those relationships are based on a controlling male. See BAG and Megan Fox.
I hope she can get a few good roles and move on.

Loved her in Repo, had no idea she was married though. She seems nice and very sweet to her fans, can't blame her for using a picture she's obviously proud of. YMMV *shrug*

I think so. Her other tweet is about "crushing on Christian Grey," who I've been told comes off as very controlling as well.
