Its hard for me to snark on this girl. My lite girl loved her growing up and AB has only showed signs of clear mental illness to me. I sincerely hope she gets help..

Im off this mental illness thing. This is way too daily, documented and in-the-open to NOT be orchestrated. The sipping 2 drinks at the same time thing killed it, this is someone acting crazy... Her PR team is good, i'll give her that one. Everyone is eating it up, enty included.
Eh, I think she is mentally ill. The coffee and pop thing doesn't really prove anything. I have no clue what she may have. I just find this downward spiral incredibly sad.

Though I really do think she has a mental illness (and sadly a lot of addicts are mentally ill and what they try to do is self-medicate themselves). Ugly ugly ugly situations.
Yeah i dunno. Everyone believed that poor Joaquin Phoenix was losing it a couple years ago. Or that Poor Kim K got her personal home recordings leaked. Or that poor Pam Anderson was suffering from Hep C... Bad publicity is still good publicity. Lohan is living proof of this.

Idk, I've seen firsthand a close friend have a manic episode/breakdown, and it was a lot like this...she was rambling on facebook, wearing crazy clothes for days, running around on her bike letting strangers in her house, not eating, not bathing, hearing voices, bought all of the stuff from a neighbor's yard sale and put it in her backyard, etc...it was quite scary and we eventually called the cops because she became so agitated and dangerous. she even had taken on a weird way of talking that was like cheezburger speak or something! (this all built up over about a week). I looked at Bynes' twitter yesterday and she's posting multiple times a day, wearing wigs, the same clothes, plus all of the other odd behavior that has been documented in the last couple of weeks. If it's not real, is she doing this all herself? Where are her friends, boyfriends, family? I think she's for realsies guys and it makes me sad for her.
She might be crying out for attention but I think her mental illness is very real.

If it is an act, it's a pretty useless one. The people enmeshed in tabloid behaviour, their fame doesn't cross over to getting work. Lindsay's super-famous, but she's getting only crumbs and stunt-casting. Courtney Stodden's in the Daily Mail every week, but it's been two years and all she got was Couples' Rehab.
Amanda Bynes doesn't need it. She could have just carried on, and she'd continue to work. I hope the crazy is an act, but I think it's real. She's always alone, no entourage. I'm not even sure she has any PR people at all!
