This former almost A list singer and B list mostly television actress who had a run of very bad luck must think she is a huge star still. Yesterday as she walked up to an empty theatre to tape a special there were ten fans on the sidewalk waiting for her. I guess that is a lot of fans. Actually they were there to see someone who came a few minutes later, but hey, if this person walks in front of you you will ask for a photo or an autograph. Despite the fact there was nothing going on and the singer was almost 30 minutes early she told the people outside that she had no time for them. "I have no time for you." No mention of being sorry. Did not even bother to look at them. She did look good though. The big star who arrived shortly thereafter stopped to talk to everyone and took photos with everyone and even talked to them all for 2 or 3 minutes each.

@A non, I think Snoop and his weed is kind of like the 2013 version of Dean Martin and his alcohol. Personally, I'm not a fan of weed - it's been unkind to a few people I know - but it's all part of Snoop's persona, and he, unlike my friends, seems to be able to keep his life together while smoking heavily.
Brandy is a pretty girl. Things have turned out rather badly for her, however, and this is partly her own fault - the fake marriage, for example.

Nutty, yeah, I get a little irritated when people insist weed is totally harmless. Now I do think it is less toxic than alcohol and I am all for legalization. Heck, I wish I could use it to help manage the anxiety that comes with Bipolar II but for work reasons, I cannot risk ever being caught with an illicit drug. That said, weed is not always the harmless drug people make it out to be. It messed up my ex-husband completely. He became worthless because of its hold on him.
Back to the topic, lol. Very cool of Snoop. :)

It even had something of a porn unicorn in it, a black chick that did anal. You don't see that too often in porn. There are a few that partake, Marie Luv, Jada Fire, Skin Diamond (she's 1/2 Asian I think so just curious may complain I put her on the list), but it isn't a common thing to see.
And this explains why no one likes Brandy. That and the vehicular manslaughter she got out of.

Snoop had the funniest contract rider for his "green room" at the venue I used to work... donuts were his munchie of choice (6 dozen glazed requested) and 25 ashtrays. Beyond that very simple and low maintence. The day after the concert the room was still toxic!

I don't know how you say people on the pot are not a waste of life because he speaks to everybody.
All drunks are defined because they speak to everybody, even when the others just want to get rid of their stinky breath. Weed, booze and all of them are "social drugs" which make people talk and socialize to everyone, and do stupid things on their way. And I don't think most of you think a boozer calling for cirrhosis (daniel radcliffe, the late Amy Winehouse...) is not a waste of life.
That said, good for him, it's his job to be friendly to fans.
Ok, lesson learned is diva behavior is worse than being a misogynistic pot head. Got it. Don't like what she did but no one called her out on it, luckily Snoop was there to be charming & was nice enough to leave the ladies in dog collars at home.

I love Snoop in Baby Boy. Hell I love that entire movie. It's not meant to be hilarious but my brother and I nearly cried from laughing so hard while watching it the first time.

This just goes to show that family members can be so different from one another (Brandy and Snoop are cousins). They've both been famous for roughly about the same length of time but they deal with their fans so differently.

Lola: Mynerva is still technically correct. "Née" (feminine) or "né" (masculine) literally means "born as." Snoop's birth name is Calvin Broadus, not Snoop Dogg.
That being said, the term has become bowdlerized to mean "formerly", but that usage is not accurate.

She was correct that enty's use would have been incorrect if one used the original meaning of the word (including its gender specific designation). However, the meaning of nee today is gender neutral and therefore, enty did use it correctly. That was my point. If enty was writing in French or 100 years ago, he would be incorrect, but he's not.
It may not be accurate (insofar as the French nee being feminine), but it is correct.
(LOL...my inner editor speaks all of the time.)
