Randy Travis Is Out Of The Hospital

Not even three weeks ago, it looked like Randy Travis was going to die. Except for his brother who was dealing meth, the entire rest of the Travis family had gathered at randy's hospital bed for what they presumed were going to be the last few hours or days of his life. Doctors did what they do though and just 25 days after he was admitted to the hospital, Randy Travis has now been discharged and is now in a physical therapy center. He was put there because his insurance is good and still paying. No, actually he was put in the therapy center because of the stroke he suffered while he was in the hospital on July 10. Randy's fiancee thanked everyone for their well wishes. Wait. Randy has a fiancee? Oh yeah, the woman he had an affair with. She was married with two kids at the time Randy started sleeping with her. Then he got into that fight with her husband in the church parking lot. You know, when Randy got arrested.

I was talking to a friend about it yesterday on Twitter (same name as here if anyone cares) and I mentioned to her my neurologist and I have been working on a therapy using the Nintendo Wii and the DS that two of the area hospitals have begun using with great results.

It's ironic that people always said my video game addiction was a waste of time but now it's gotten me mentioned in medical journals.

If anyone you know has had a stroke or suffers from any form of partial paralysis in their hands and arms, pick up a new or used Nintendo Wii (I've seen then as low as $50 used) and pretty much any games (Boom Blox is really good for the rehabbing because the movements need to be precise but not perfectly precise) and the best part of it is you can actually see the improvement on the screen in scores and such.; 9:32 AM
