At an event the other night, this spy was part of a group of six that included this A list mostly movie actor and his A list mostly movie actress girlfriend. The spy was appalled at the way the actor treated the actress. When he was talking if she tried to interrupt or say something he would tell her to be quiet because he was talking. When she didn't want to go outside so he could smoke he told her that she had to and she went. It was just one thing after another all night and the actress seemed to be oblivious to the fact that she was being treated like crap.

Me too. And his new wife, harassed me daily bc she thinks I want her POS. He forgets I left him, he didn't leave me. It took me 6 yrs of therapy to get past the mental and physical abuse.

She grew up with an abusive father who was killed by her mother right in front of her. No surprise that she is dating a known abuser now.
Think about it....she grew up in an abusive household....look at what happened with her mother...she probably thinks that she deserves to be treated this way because of the example her mother set for her by putting up with it for so long. It's sad really.
He is really lucky to be with her. She is miles out of his league and she will realize it one day.
@texas rose. I remember that BI about Penn/Brolin duo bullying (and even worst) Emile Hirsch that magically disappeared from this site. Someone suggested a publicist called, and there’s also that freak Fingerbinger that comes in Penn’s defense in every gossip site, including here. So yes! PR people doing their homework!
I grew up in a VERY abusive household but I am intelligent enough to NOT stay with a man who is not nice to me. And I think Charlize is also smart enough to not allow herself to be mistreated. This blind is total BS. Penn beat up on Madonna and he hit a few paps but there is no proof he was abusive towards his wife of 20 years and there is no proof he is abusive towards Charlize. It's just too easy to throw his name out there. How can you say that, on the one hand Charlize is a bitch and then say she sits quietly and allows herself to be publicly abused and humiliated. Doesn't add up.
Comparing lives just because you had similar experiences never leads to anything good. You also didn't witness the murder of your abusive father at your mother's hands. There are so many other variables besides the abuse that plays a factor into these things. Everybody's psyche is different. Everybody's chemical reactions in their brains behave differently.
