This B list entertainer(athlete) with a more famous wife has been told by his employers that certain family members will not be allowed to visit him at his work place unless some requirements are met first. Apparently a visit from those family members could potentially be harmful to his fellow employees and their families.

That is so stupid...if the fellow employees and their families are vaccinated, then anyone who isn't is not a threat to them. I don't believe this.
If any members of fellow employees' families are pregnant, immunocompromised (chemo, lupus, etc) or are too young to be vaccinated….then yes, they are a threat.
Unless there's a very specific medical reason that he can show -- children with severe egg allergies can be seriously harmed by egg-based vaccines, for instance, which can and should be tested for medically before administration of such a drug -- not vaccinating your child is straight-up child abuse, and he should be prosecuted.
Not all vaccines protect you forever. For instance, you had the pertusis (whooping cough) vaccine when you were a child...that protects you for 5 or 6 years. So if you're around someone who has it, you're gonna get it. And as someone who caught whooping cough as an adult, I can tell you it's miserable and lasts 3 months. Oh, and if you give it to an old person or a baby/child too young to get the vaccine, you can kill them.
Might want to educate yourself.
The Bears probably didn't want his attention obsessed wife around and just used the kids as an excuse. I hope the Bears cut Cutler after this season and Chicago can be rid of him and his annoying wife.
Sounds like total bullshit or asshole Cutler doesn't want his kids and wife visiting him at the practice facility or stadium by his choice and he is just using the team as scapegoat- sounds like him- a total prick.

Cutler teamed up with Eli Lilly to help send kids to diabetes camps. Did Kristin not tell him Eli Lilly was the company that developed thiomersal, the drug they claim causes autism (even though it's no longer used)? "I'm just a mom" is not an excuse to bring whooping cough and measles to the general population.

@SSSS if you are catching things as an adult, then maybe YOU should be getting vaccinated or boosters, especially since pertussis is most commonly spread by adults to children, NOT vice versa. Maybe YOU should educate yourself (and be more careful who you are around).
@Kate I don't know if that is why, but I'm guessing someone that immunocompromised is being careful in general, from all sources...they don't know if random children running around are unvaccinated or sick and just not symptomatic yet, no one wears a sign, so I found it hard to believe they would single him out for that. I'm inclined to think someone who can't stand them is just spreading these rumors.

That's not exactly how vaccines work....in fact they only really work if the majority of the population at rist gets them. A virus mutates---that's just what it does. It's a living system. If everyone is vaccinated against a certain strain, a virus can become weak and limited. If, however, an unvaccinated person gets the virus, the virus has the opportunity to thrive. And if it latches onto another person, it can mutate. And then again...and after a few mutations, the vaccinations of society are not equipped to deal with the new strain, and everyone gets it. Vaccination is not a personal choise, it's really an issue of herd immunity (Definitely learn about herd immunity! :) : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herd_immunity).
It's fascinating and not something that is all about the individual. With most diseases, it's not as simple as a "what's right for me" kind of choice.
