I think the people who pay people to be their companions aren't doing it because they lack people who will love them. I think they do it because they are picky about their physical ideal and would rather pay someone to be their doll than bother trying to love someone without a 6-pack/big dick/curly hair/whatever it is they are into.
I was thinking about that after I hit post. I suppose it's an efficient use of time, too. There's no fake-nice period or 'dating'...just straight to do-what-I-say-and-get-paid.
