This A+list mostly movie actress got rebuffed by her A+list celebrity/performer sometime boyfriend when she tried to get him to help her with her music. He said no for years to someone much closer. So, our actress has been playing hot and heavy with this A list singer in hopes he will help. She is not shy about doing what it takes to get what she wants.

Jlaw's statements about hating singing happened before Hanging Tree went platinum, selling over a million copies.
I thought Hanging Tree was pretty bad. It wouldn't have been made if it wasn't JLaw. If she wants to continue music then she needs help.

JLaw's singing on Hanging Tree was awful. No voice and can't carry a tune in a suit case.
I do believe her Chris martin Relationship is to further her singing even though she plays the singing part down.

The Hanging Tree wasn't good enough to make a career out of it. Don't quit your day job.

Well she does have gay brothers and suspected-gay friends/co-stars, so offering to introduce him to discreet hookups might be an incentive. Not trying to suggest prostitution, to be clear, just that there are other benefits for him if he is gay.

I'm calling BS. JLaw is the most in-demand actress in Hollywood right now; she's on top of the world in the movie business. She dreaded singing for The Hunger Games so why would she want a whole career out of something she dreads? Yeah the song did well but it's not like she needs the money.
Yup, she did it for Lorde since they were good friends but hated it.
