Packer is a Scientologist, he has had a crush on Mariah for years and finally 'met' her. Those Scientologist auditing sessions may have revealed his Mariah crush and they put two and two together arranging a hook up, she likes the flattery and media interest. I wouldn't pit it past them to be knee deep in this, hoping he will be able to recruit her into the cult one more fat piggy bank for them to drain. Given her instability, once the Sio claws are in her it will not be easy for her to get away.
Get what you can, but stay away from $cientology. Packer seems to have left the cult, but you never know.
Mariah needs publicity sinc her career is in the sewer (a short and catastrophic Vegas residency with lipsynchin and last minute cancellations) a single and re-issued old compilation that did not sell. She's out of shape and older. She needs good press and what about a summer romance ? Her PR team is on it, paying TMZ to put daily non stories about her fake romance with picture straight out of her assistant cell phone. Him ? He has a gay rumour about him for years like every other scientologist, his interest in her is like any other gay guy with his favourite diva plus it keeps the rumours at bay so they keep sending cell phone pics to TMZ and a check.
