Today's Blind Items- The Grateful Wife
Never has a wife been so grateful to have her husband lose his job. The thing is, if he had kept his job even for one more season of his show, the marriage would have ended. An affair. An affair that was a whole lot more than just some on set sex in a trailer while you wait for a scene to be set up. nope, this was much different. Our actor is foreign born. This show was his claim to fame. Don't kid yourself. He is a good actor and made some good movies, but this network show made him. His lover is no stranger to on set romance. It seems like every show she is on she hooks up with someone. Kind of like Julia Roberts back in the day. This was different though. For a couple of seasons our B+/A- list mostly television actress who seems to be on three or four hit shows simultaneously was just on the show every so often. Just some flirting and fun, but nothing serious. Then it happened. She became someone who was on set the entire time. This past season actors and crew both could tell they were falling in love. The touches. The always wanting to be with each other. His wife used to visit the set. Not this past season. He told her he was too busy and the work too hard. Our actress has moved on to one of her many other projects. She does love an on set romance. Will she be back for her former co-star? Probably not. I think she moves on. It would have been different though if they had another year. The wife is glad there is not.

@derek, I think 'Hannibal' made him a household name--sure, I loved him from "Hysteria" & "Elizabeth 1" etc... but he wasn't THAT well known as he is now that he's starred on Hannibal....same with Simon Baker.

Mads Mikkelsen and Gillian Anderson- Hannibal. Wife in an interview stated that he is gone alot.
And,for the record,Enty, you just had a Blind Item wherein Claire Danes was the obvious culprit as the tv actress having an affair and about to leave her foreign born tv actor husband...but she does that sort of thing......just saying that we remember these things ; )

Ok @ helene, my FINAL Flip-Flop- i like that answer b/c Mads is an excellent underrated movie actor and yet he finally was recognized for his good work in "Hannibal".I didn't even think about him for this yet he fits the best! good guess!!!
Gillian Anderson certainly has that 'Je Ne Sais Quoi ' with men..& come to think of it, with women too...eh??
I think Helene's guess of Mads Mikkelsen, vs. Hugh D, as the actor fits the clues much better. That said, damn! Gillian Anderson has quite the active offscreen life as well (!!)

The fall is still on & is not network in the US & is not well known in the US. 50 Shades made Jamie.
Hannibal however, was network, was just cancelled, & did make names for a few of the actors.

Jamie Dornan is a hot bitch. Shades AND Fall made him, depending on where you live and what you watch. For me, the Fall made him. 50 Shades was an embarrassment, Charlie Hunnam dodged a bullet.

LOL, don't feel lost, selenakyle. Enty's new fanfic is obviously inspired by the latest Hannibal trailer (in which Mads and Gillian kiss). Expect a new GA/DD fanfic as soon as Fox releases some teasers. Enty aims to please. :D
This is defensively Mads Mikkelsen and Gillian Anderson.
The Fall is on its final season and Gillian had a full-time role on that, not just every-so-often.
As much as I am a fan of Dornan, he really does not have that many movies under his belt that have been released as of yet and I can't think of one that was considered good review-wise.
They're continuing 'The Fall' after S03 with Stella Gibson (without Spector).

Really? I love the show and both of the leads but was happy when I initially heard they were wrapping it up this season. The writers were doing a number on Gillian's character Stella IMO. Oh well, I'm sure a lot of fans will be happy. I can't wait to see how they pick up from the end of season 2 as far as Dornan is concerned. I wonder if he dies and they show flash-backs to answer some of the many questions about his character for the whole season 3. I'm hoping he escapes at the hospital but that wound was pretty bad.
I wonder if they will still stick with one killer at a time after 3? I guess we will see. Thanks for the info
Yep, I'm actually even more excited for S04 of 'The Fall' as it would be new arc. They talked about continuing it with more seasons a-la 'Prime Suspect' style. Allan Cubitt, the creator, was actually one of the writers for 'Prime Suspect'.
I have some speculation where they could take S03, but there a lot of options there and I'm just gonna enjoy whatever Cubitt will bring.
BINGO! helena guessed it. It's Mads and Gillian in 'Hannibal' that's finishing its third season on NBC this summer. [Though it has a very high chance on being picked up by another network/cable network/streaming service.]
The description doesn't fit Hugh at all, as he became famous many years ago. All of Gillian's scenes are with Mads and she barely has any with Hugh. And I'm sorry, but whoever suggested 'The Fall' is clueless as hell. It's a BBC/Netflix show. Gillian Anderson's Stella Gibson is the main character from the beginning and Gillian is actually one of the producers on the show. And they're starting to shoot S03 in November till January next year with all the actors.
Ooh, I would love to know who Gillian hooked up with from the Fall. I am obsessed with that show. Was is Jamie Dornan or Archie Panjabie (some rumors about this)? Hey if I'm Gillian I'd be all over Dornan!
