This is fairly short, but since the Met Ball is tonight, I thought it was a good one to write. A few years ago when actors and actresses started attending and models started getting pushed aside, this former A+ list super model got her revenge. The former A+ lister could still model but mainly stays home with that strange looking celebrity she married decades ago. Anyway our former A+ lister was supposed to go and wear an outfit for a long time designer friend. About three weeks before the event, the designer calls the model and apologizes but says that this B+list mostly television actress at the time from a hit almost network show was going to wear the dress. The designer owed some money and his partners thought it would be better to have the actress wearing the dress. The model was willing to let it go and knew the designer meant his apologies. Then the actress went off in the press about how the model was washed up and that the designer had a vision and that our actress who is married to someone much higher on the list than herself was the designer’s muse and it was time for the young and that the models should make way for women the world wanted to see and could see in something more than a magazine that was decades old. The model vowed revenge. She knew who was doing the hair and makeup for the actress because the designer arranged for them. The model had them ruin the hair of the actress so much that she had to wear a wig. They also used a concealer on her face that caused her to sweat and did something to the dress that made our actress scratch herself almost continually the entire night and also break out in some kind of bright red rash. The rash took a few days to go down and the actress lost a modeling job because of it. I’m not sure the actress knows the model was behind it or if it was just bad luck, but I do know she never said anything about the model ever again.

Blake does sound right, she did fancy herself a model for awhile and was believing her people's hype about her when she was on Gossip Girl.
Blake wore Gucci both 2013 & 2014. She's was also in one of their perfume ads. She didn't attend 2015.
Alessandro Michele looks to be Gucci's head designer, is 42 & been working for them since 2002.

Paulina was always my favorite model.
I had the pleasure of being seated across the table from Paulina about 20 years ago. We spent the entire time talking about the Beatles and Rolling Stones. She was wonderful and funny.

Honestly I have an unpopular opinion - you're a model, you have limited mileage, your career ends at age 30.....just deal with it and stop being bitter to the point where you're so angry you sabotage ayounger more relevant person. this is the entertainment industry - deal with your expiration date.

My grandparents know who Paulina is. She was a super model in the 80's & 90's. Still models, married to a rock star.

I lived in the same neighborhood as Paulina and Richard and they couldn't be nicer. I love this revenge. Paulina was the face of Estee Lauder for years...I hope 49 is not considered grandparent old....

Limited mileage perhaps but models tend to age better because of the stellar facial bones, those that don't mess with surgery, that is.

Blake is really burning bridges... crap talking other women, sleeping with married men...and she ain't a pretty gal, just another gal with a good figure and good hair...plenty of those (especially with surgery and extensions so readily available). Paulina today is way prettier than Blake any day.

I think its just that YOU don't know who she is. Plenty of people here do know her. I think her response to the badmouthing was pure genius. The great thing about having a few years is that you know lots of people in the business and they are always up for a trick or two. Shouldn't dismiss them, same thing might happen to you someday lol
Paulina is FAB. She's always been my fave supermodel.
This couldn't be Katie Holmes because she just wore the wig this year. She also wore Zac Posen who didn't exist when Paulina was modeling so I doubt very seriously they're good Judies who go way back. And if if just happened this May, we should be able to good what was said by Paulina if this was the case.

It's hard to believe Paulina is about the same age as Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista. They got a lot more mileage out of their careers than she did.
