Today's Blind Items - He Had Him Killed
It is not often an A+ list mostly movie actor gets away with murder. It is even more rare that it happened in a time that is not Old Hollywood. It did happen back in the day. The actor in question is still really close to A+ list. The actor was stealing from his business partner. Our actor was not the money making machine he is now and was using a lot of drugs and couldn't pay. He also had some other issues. He got in over his head and when the silent business partners came looking for their share of the profits, our actor pointed the finger at the other partner as to why there was no money to pay the silent partners. The guy got killed and our actor quickly got out of sight and stayed out of sight for about a year.

It has now been 4 years since the murder in Hollywood of Mafia reporter Susan Berman and two years since Johnny Depp's business partner Anthony Fox vanished without a trace. Authorities in California have given no public indication that a break in either case will come soon.
It was his Viper Room partner/Depp moved to France the next year

That American Mafia piece has many inaccuracies: Fox disappeared Dec 2001. Depp went to Paris to film The Ninth Gate in summer 1998, when VP got pregnant. Depp left France to film Sleepy Hollow in fall 1998/early winter 1999 (when Moss set her rehab room on fire), and then got the villa in the south of France with Paradis, who gave birth in Nice to their daughter in May 1999. They didn't move back as a family to LA until after his career exploded in 2003. If anyone from Depp's camp is to blame, it's probably his other partner who managed the Viper Rm all the time Depp was in Europe. Depp was pretty busy filming all that time.

Yep...this definitely sounds like Johnny Depp and his Viper Room Partner Anthony Fox who went missing and has NEVER been found! WOW...if this is true, Hollywood can be a very scary town.

Re: Susan Berman. The LAPD pretty much knows it was Bob Durst who killed Susan Berman and why. They have been trying to extradite him back to LA but he is still stuck in that hospital in La. If you saw the HBO mini-series The Jinx, two envelopes were shown (identical printing) to Durst and he said he probably sent both of them. Why is this significant? Watch the last episode and prepare to be shocked.
In 2000, Anthony Fox sued Johnny for mishandling of profits, but while the suit was in progress, Fox disappeared in December of 2001. Meanwhile, by this time, Johnny was spending most of his time in France with long time love Vanessa Paradis and their two children, and had become less and less involved with the club. In 2004, Johnny and his lawyers finally settled the case, quietly selling his majority share to Fox's daughter Amanda, who sold the club.
Sure sounds like it's Johnny.

Assuming this blind is true as written (and it certainly may not be) Depp didn't actually murder his business partner; the other silent partners did.
IE, Depp may not have "clean hands" here, but if he didn't actually commission or commit the murder in question then he didn't "get away with murder".
How would you know if Depp's drug use is escalating? Other unreliable blinds?
Whether it is or isn't, its kind of hard see why the still-unsolved disappearance of his partner 14 years ago would be causing Depp extra angst today. Depp effectively washed his hands of the Viper club ten years ago.
In terms of the merits of actual blind, at the time of his death, Depp was one of five parties being sued by Fox, and was already spending most of his time outside the USA. There were probably any number of others happy to see Fox disappear too.
I think this must be referring to Depp, but I don't buy the blind for a second. To believe this blind, you'd have to believe that:
Depp, a broke drug addict, embezzled money from his business. After noticing the missing money, the "silent partners" (who, by implication, are mobsters) confronted Depp, who then blamed his other partner Anthony Fox for the theft. The mobsters then *purely on the say so of someone they had to know was an addict* murdered Fox over the theft.
I don't think this casting of events is plausible. Assuming the first part of the story is true (that there actually were silent partners here, that Depp embezzled money then blamed Fox), these silent partners would certainly have tracked the money and determined the truth, before having anyone murdered over it. Remember, at the time of his disappearance, Fox was in litigation with Depp and the club manager Sal Jenco for misappropriating money from the club. Again, if there were any "silent partners" here wondering what happened to their money, I think said lawsuit "might" have given them a clue where it went!
Ultimately Depp settled the case. . .he was probably going to lose it. So its likely that Depp and the club manager did misappropriate money from the club, and the first part of the blind (that Depp needed cash) might even be true. But the Viper club itself attracted a bunch of unsavory characters, including drug dealers; its certainly possible that Fox ran afoul of one of them, or had other dealings with shady characters unrelated to Depp.
Clooney? Two mentions of "Out of Sight" in the description. Don't know what the business deal would be but Clooney has always had lots of sidelines, not just tequila. Think I remember something about real estate deals or pyramid investment scheme going wrong way back. Clooney was mentioned as connected.
Depp's not known as a "money making machine NOW", his slide has been long. Clooney doesn't make box office either but hid it better until recently.
And might explain the 'motivation' for the Amal arrangement, which is not working out for Clooney on the face of it yet he still keeps plugging it. There are other Organisations beyond the obvious one. Amal's family have provable links to a few including Bulgarian and Armenian as well as Middle Eastern and African arms dealing.
And Clooney's Hollywood Star doesn't seem to be buying him the same PR protection as it used to these days. More BIs and stories coming out.
