Fortunately, I'm a day late because I can't resist correcting this particularly glaring word misuse.
If Dakota Johnson is actually battling sobriety, she's already won.
Sobriety is the state of being sober. An alcoholic/addict may be said to be battling alcoholism/addiction while *seeking* sobriety. This usage is akin to saying a sick person is battling good health.
It's completely backwards unless the subject in question is bathing in vodka & heroin in an effort to defeat sobriety. Because that would totally work and wouldn't be much of a struggle at all.
