If you listen to the statements of this A+ list mostly movie actor about the breakup of his best friend's marriage you have to read between the lines to figure out what he is thinking. If you ask him directly he will tell you that he hates the wife of his best friend and they only stayed together as long as they did because she kept getting pregnant. He says she got pregnant twice when the husband did not think it was possible.

Man-boy Ben's been lying to Damon, bringing his friends along on his naughty adventures so they take part of the blame.. lying to his wife, friends who are solid and dependable, lying to his casual hookup's.. he's not into confrontation, taking responsibility, being dependable or truthful in anything at all. Everyday he's called to man up and act with dignity and respect and speak plainly, do the right thing is like moving a heavy brick wall up a endless mountain.. Nope.. too hard

It sounds like it's supposed to be Damon, but honestly, word is that Ben's friends all adore Jen.
All snark aside, Matt also knows that Ben left to his own devices is extremely self sabatoging & self destructive & could literally get himself killed thru his addictions,alcohol poisoning, gambling with the wrong people,drugs,etc. so he wouldn't want him to go off the deep end & Jen & the kids did keep a rein on him somewhat.
I used to think Matt Damon was such a nice guy and smart too. Every time he opens his mouth now he comes off as a total a-hole. His relationship with Affleck is truly weird and, it's beginning to look like it's unhealthy for all concerned. His comments about JLo were unacceptable and if he's dissing Garner now, he's a little sh@t.

honestly, jen garner strikes me as one of those women who only needs her husband for sperm. she's all about the minivan majority and nothing else matters.
@java it's also evil. using your own children (born and unborn) as pawns to get what you want. what about how her relationship with affleck affects them? in my opinion that type of deceit makes her a HORRIBLE mother.

Jen Garner looks more and more shady as time passes. Yeah, if he had one foot out the door, he shouldn't have trusted her when she said that she was using contraception. But how shady is she for getting pregnant to keep him around? Kids are not bandaids for a bad marriage. In the words of Dr. Phil, how'd that work out for ya?
I think Damon is the bio-dad of Affleck's son, Samuel. Take a look at the kid via Google - if Jen and Damon had a kid, that's what it would look like. Something must have happened between Damon and Jen about three years ago.
Damon probably knows too and wants to distance himself from her and any association with her in order to avoid detection. Does anyone else see it?
He was a total ass on Project Greenlight, with a big anti-diversity blowup and a really crappy non-apology afterward, and he's also recently gotten a lot of press for a statement which seemed to imply that gay actors should stay in the closet.
Although I have completely lost respect for him, I still went to see The Martian and I was able to forget that he was "Matt Damon." These days if you boycott all the problematic actors there's almost nothing left to watch. :(
