Things became very heated at a party last week when this B+ list cable actress who has seemingly been on television for two decades straight in one hit after the other got into an argument about politics with another woman. Our actress was asked to leave when things became physical.

Physical? Not JLD. Harden's an Oscar winner and hasn't only been on TV for 20 years, she's done a lot of movie work.
Political could mean anything from climate change to abortion, though neither belongs in the political arena. The physical part is the key. Who is trashy enough to go that route?

Agreed. I found it hard to commit to either guess, really:( someone said Edie Falco down thread- solid guess with Sopranos/Nurse Jackie. All cable /no NewYork really. Makes sense.

Great guess! She's really hard core Republican, Catholic, Anti-Abortion, you name it. A couple of years ago Heaton went after someone publicly about...can't remember.

Except her shows have been network, not cable (Everybody Loves Raymond, The Middle). I could see her as the other woman, but not the "B-list cable actress".
I like this - she was at Art Basel and is very outspoken about her political views.
