This aging permanent A list singer/performer/Academy Award winner/nominee has sold off many of her most valuable possessions. She was hoping she could tour the world and make it all back but things are not looking rosy on that front and there is going to be another massive sell off of her items which she hopes will last her the rest of her life.

that's a shame she's broke. Somebody had to have robbed her (wonder who?)
So sad. Poor financial/money management and greedy ex-husbands.
She had serious health problems for a long time now, doesn't sound too plausible she was hoping to tour recently.
A world tour seems way too physically demanding for Liza at this stage of her life. Why not a strategic show, say NYC, (Berlin? Paris?) and film it as a TV special, like Adele did.
Also, she was great in Arrested Development. Her agent should discreetly engage certain producers and directors to let her know she'd be amenable for repeat appearances on tv shows or character cameos in film.
With the love of musicals happening these days, there must be a smarter way to milk it than a grueling World Tour. IMHO.
If this is true, she shouldn't think in terms of getting the stuff back. If you're not feeling well, it's best to not have to keep track of valuables. Think of it more as decluttering.
Somehow I suspect she will be just fine. At the very worse she will have to live like a 25 percenter instead of a 1 percenter.
