People are treated how they tolerate being treated. If she didn't come back with his drink and throw it in his face, she's OK with how he treats her.

I'd bring him his drink... laced with arsenic. I have zero sympathy with women who put up with this kind of treatment. The "lifestyle" he provides couldn't possibly be worth handing over my dignity.
Didn't you all read the line? He encouraged her to get some water for herself, he's looking out for her! He was clearly in 'business' mode and that business is what provides for the family. Can't hate on him for that.
Killing a man or even thinking about killing a man just because he ordered you around is unacceptable. This line of thinking needs to stop. Take some damn responsibility and if you're going to murder someone then do it and stop talking about it. It's clear you have the mind for it.
