This Golden Globe winning actor who is back in movies after a run through a hit pay cable show was berating his long time girlfriend the other night at dinner. When she stood up to leave, he grabbed her arm and shoved her back down. She then started crying really loudly and he just walked out leaving her there.

@Sandy's guess works with Michael C. Hall if he HAS a longterm girlfriend- Michael was at Sundance for movie "Christine" which did well there.That could've been where the argument occurred.

The presumption is that the guy is being an ass for "berating" and "grabbing" the woman. Without context difficult to know who was in the wrong or whether it was just a couple having a fight as couples will do.
