This permanent A list singer/part-time actress was yelling at her daughter out in front of their NYC hotel. Apparently our A lister decided what the adult daughter was going to wear was inappropriate and yelled at her to go change. Yeah, all this happened in front of the singer’s fans.

They should feel lucky to be in the presence of Bette Midler. The blind doesn't say how the daughter was really dressed, so I'm assuming a skirt that didn't cover anything & a tub top?

Quite un unexpected reveal, i think noone has thought about B Midler. It's just that when a gossip is not about someone usually in the news then it becomes hard to get the right answer, it's easier to think about someone often in the spotlight.

Yes, she seems the type that yells at you, and is mad, then the very next minutes comes to you and talks to you amiably like nothing happend and is genuine in doing it.

yeah but she's saving all the trees & restoring the parks in NYC so I figure it's not such a bad thing to have a madcap earth mom who cares.
I saw the pictures. The daughter was wearing bowling shoes, white sweat sox, a strap-on and a Viking helmet. Bette had a point. (I mean, the outfit might have worked in the summer, but it was almost 3 weeks past labor day!)
The poor dear probably wasn't wearing the proper mermaid outfit.
