French Girl - actually you can fly on a commercial flight with a bag of money. I flew back from Europe to US a few months ago & a guy in first class had a duffle bag of cash that he showed the flight attendant as he boarded. Surprised the heck out of me too!
I know when travelling from Canada to the U.S. the limit is $10,000. Seems kind of small potato-ish for drug money.
You can travel without being checked (handbags, suitcases, etc.) if you have a Seychelles diplomatic passport which you can buy for 1/4 of million dollars from the Seychelles government.

Diplomats and VIPs are checked, but not by the airport security that checks everyone else. It's done elsewhere.
To add, I used to work at JFK. Once I had to inspect Jay Z's stuff at the gate (secondary screening, not sure why he was picked). He looked really angry, although he said nothing. I went as fast as I could, lol.
Another time, at the gate, I had to run a metal detector wand around Natalie Portman. I had no idea that she is as short as I am, lol.

I'm going to go against the grain and say Iman, since she was a former A list model and was married to David Bowie, who should be perm A list singer. She's from Africa I think so she might have that drug connect from there.
