She was my first guess too...but so what? If it were a fundraiser to support liver disease research would you require a breathalyzer for admittance? She knows the risks and if she wasn't breaking any laws, so what?
I agree, but Enty has a thing about smoking.
Maybe we should test everyone for HPV before they're permitted to enter a benefit for GYN or Head & Neck cancer. ;-)
It's not the smartest thing to do.
She had cancer herself, and if it was indoors it may be illegal not to mention second hand smoke.
Rita recently had a double mastectomy bc of breast cancer. It is more unsettling when people who have had to fight cancer don't afterwards avoid behaviors that can cause it.
If she's too dumb to see how bad it looks smoking at a lung cancer event, then there's no hope. Chew some Nicorette if you can't take it. Dumb!

I'm not a smoker and I can totally see the irony of chain smoking at lung cancer event,but I guesse it shows just how difficult it can be to give up.
People are actually defending this? Seriously? Yikes.
It's perfectly legal. She wasn't smoking meth. Leave this woman alone.
Wow, that is so offensive to the people there who give a fuck about the cause. If she wants to give herself cancer fine, but to do it there is beyond low class.
I thought that Rita was smart enough to at least put on a show of being classy.
