Another set of celebrity parents who just don't care their underage daughter is hooking up with a way older guy. Oh, and as a bonus is a very very well known celebrity drug dealer. What could go wrong in this situation? The oldest child almost died of drugs, so apparently they didn't learn any kind of lesson.

Lionel's seems like a narcissist so it's hard for him to pay attention to his own sometimes. I think that's why Nicole rebelled so hard, to get daddy's attention.

This is funny until you realize this happens a million times a day in the US. NYC 8 years ago. 4AM Woman screaming for her life. Look out window. Two men beating her on the stairs of the bldg. across the street. Call 9-1-1. Cops pull up and the men run. Woman is still screaming. Got dressed, ran across the street to tell Cops what I saw. Woman is bleeding. They were STABBING her, not hitting her! She can't speak English. (Duh) Medics arrive. She is still hysterical. I look over and see the men standing on the corner. Tell the lead Cop those are the men I saw attacking her. Cop asks if I am sure. Ask the Cop to read me what the Dispatcher told him. He reads back descriptions of what they are wearing. Matches both men. Cops do nothing. Two additional squad cars arrive. I plead with them to arrest the two men. It almost came to physical blows between me and the Cops. I was in my late 60's at the time. She went to the hospital and was deported back to Dominican Rep. when she got well. The two men? Haven't a clue who they were or why they were never arrested. Welcome to America!

He absolutely is! He shows it on his episode of Who Do You Think You Are when he wouldn't let any of the experts or anyone at all finish a sentence because he finished it for them. Everything he had to say was more important than anyone else.
When Jon B. & his wife found out about their daughter, they immediately took action. They never seemed like Hollywood parents, probably because they don't live there.
I recall when there was some story about someone like Bette Midler bemoaning today's skanks like Paris, et. al., Lionel came to their defense and said back in the days of the Commodores, etc. he was wild and so was Bette, etc. Yes, he survived, but he is too lax as a dad. Nicole has been seriously anorexic for years, on drugs for years, maybe he could survive all the women and drugs, he seems endlessly indulgent/patient with them, when they need some rules and deadlines for pulling it together.
Yes, except the part about Lionel Richie being Nicole's father. He is not.
This daughter is 17 and Nicole is in her mid-30's, they are both heroin addicts. That doesn't say much for Lionel's parenting skills.
