I'm trying to think of a US version of ballotelli, totally gifted but plain crazy. Given multiple chances because of his obvious talent but never quite put a solid season together because, well crazy.

Just to clarify, it's not Balotelli but if it was (trust me it's not) he's adopted. His pos parents I think from Ghana gave him up for adoption as a baby to rich Italians, then when they found out he was a big star wanted to be in his life. They're shits and the poor guy just wants to be loved.
