Blind Item #6 -Kindness

The wife of the guy in #4 spends $100 every single day just on lunch for her three workers. She also pays for Uber rides to and from work every day along with gym memberships and full health insurance. Plus, she pays her staff more than just about any other celebrity I know. She wins the best employer award. You only get fired if you sleep with the husband.

Jennifer Garner

I agree. She's desperate to be likable - she'd definitely pay for it.

So it's not much of a kindness, then, is it?

I think she tries hard as well to be like-Everywoman", but she does have a really solid upbringing I think, grounded and hard working from all I've read etc. maybe she appreciates staff etc(hope anyway), unlike so many other celebs(*looking at you Sharon stone lol).

The workers probably appreciate it.

@Tricia13... story in Meadville PA is her mom favored her as the pretty one and the rest is obnoxious history. She is supposed to be really smart in real life though.

Very nice, but I'd rather have the cash than a hundred dollar lunch

Spent most of her childhood growing up in West Virginia I think(dad did well as an engineer , mom a teacher), but pretty simple life etc. ? Anyway sorry to hear that bout her mom, but agree with H20 I'm sure the employees are appreciative.

$5/day for lunch being saved adds up for extra cash for you.

or maybe she is just a nice lady. i do not dislike her, the only thing that irks me about her is her shiftiness with boyfriends (when she cheated on folley with vartan, and then dumped vartan for affleck)
other than that she's solid

IMO someone "nice" does not marry an asshat like BA. Birds of a feather... and she also calls the paps any time she sets foot outside. Glad to hear she treats her workers well, but that is all also a tax write off for them.

Going to pick up lunches for staff is another photo op for ol' Jen. Paying to Uber them to and from work means that she knows exactly where they are coming from when they arrive and exactly where they are going when they leave. Ben fucked a nanny, don't you remember? LOL. She is accounting for their whereabouts.

There was a post on ontd a couple of months ago from a nanny who uses the same agency as Garner. Apparently Garner went through 7 nannies in the space of a year. She also reportedly told one of the younger nannies that she felt "intimidated" around her because the nanny was good-looking. So she is probably difficult to work for and has to sweeten the deal with lunches and gym memberships. Wouldn't be worth it IMO. Garner seems like a manipulative, nagging bitch behind closed doors. Her nannies always look as miserable as Ben does.

I remember Ted Casablanca had a really low opinion of Garner back in the day, this was before all the drama. Good call on using the good deeds to keep tabs on employees, she doesn't want them to be with Ben, even if she doesn't want him.

Anyone one who tries hard to present a saccharine front to the world, has deep, dark, wells of secrets.
Just sayin

But this is a beautiful item! Somebody is doing something nice for somebody else. A celebrity is treating her employees with dignity and proper compensation.

If we criticize when celebrities do awful things, shouldn't we applaud when they do great things? I am glad to hear that a celebrity is not out doing horrible things.
