"See that guy over there? The one standing next to ______________ (actress on an almost television show tons of you watched that won a big award). I ran into him at the gym the other day and he would not stop hitting on me. He said he was single so I gave him my number. I guess he isn't. "
No, he isn't, but was definitely one of the most wealthy people there last night who didn't make their money from entertainment.

So Peter Thum (or whoever) was hitting on a random woman…do we care?
It would be different if he was hitting on AP (who is famous and married), but she's just telling what she overheard. Or if he was hitting on Cara Buono or someone from the ST cast, but AP didn't say that, she just said the woman pointed out the guy by saying he was standing next to the ST actress.
Anonymous woman mentions that rich dude (standing next to ST actress) was hitting on her. So what?
