This A- list pay cable actor is burying himself even more deeply in the closet. He doesn't even want to see a trickle of light because he knows he won't land that long running franchise if there is even a hint of homosexuality wafting over him.

Tom Hiddleston is the obvious choice he won a golden globe recently for TV work. It is obvious Tom is gay he confirmed it when the singer Taylor Swift became his beard. Swift is the go to power beard for gay men in Hollywood. The whole fake relationship and publicity stunt Taylor meeting his mom was BS. Kit Harrington is too unknown for James Bond and so is the other guy.
Hiddleston has more than a hint over him. The Taylor Swift fauxmance backfired on both of them. Kit Harrington might be too identified with his character.

Hiddleston isn't a "pay cable actor" he's a "mostly movie actor" or "dual threat actor" and he is already out of the running for Bond.
Aiden Turner is currently in Poldark, not a pay cable show. It is on PBS.
If Sam Heughan was cast as the new Bond, I'd be first in line at the theater. And I've never seen a James Bond movie, ever.
Kit Harrington would be the new "fun sized" Bond.
Both him and Daniel Craig are 5'6.
Well... While you are in the closet, suit yourself. If you prefer the job over living free, who am I to judge. If you were open and all who wanted to came out, Hollywood/society wouldn't have a choice other than to accept it.

Sam is pay cable actor, gay/Bond rumors around him too but the dating rumors with costar Caitriona Balfey started making the round in UK gossip rags again after they attended together at some movie premiere few nights ago, maybe he is "Bi"??? Who knows!

Aidan Aidan Aidan with two "a"s. And right, he's not A- list (he's A+ on my list), and I'm not sure he's still in the running for Bond, either. Hiddleston has done pay cable work and as for being "mostly movie" all his films have bombed except for Thor series and his recent fame has come from Night Manager. Heughan isn't a bad choice but it is wayyyyy too late for him to hide, that closet door has been well ajar for some time.

I've stood five feet from Craig and he's not 5'6" - not tall but not that short, either, I'd put him at between 5'9-5'10".
Now you're talking! Hardy or Turner would be my first picks, height be damned. They both pack heat although Hardy is the better actor.
Apparently there are seven candidates for the James Bond role: Tom Hardy, Aidan Turner, James Norton, Jack Huston, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba and Ryan Gosling.
I think we can safely remove Jack Huston, Idris Elba and Ryan Gosling. Tom Hiddlesron is probably no longer in the running after his TS affair. So we are left with the first three. I wouldn't call Tom Hardy a cable star, but I'm not sure if Aidan qualifies because his show is on BBC. It is quite possible it could be James Norton, but is he well known in US to be A- listed? So it's either Aidan or James. Take your pick.

No way in hell will there be a non-Brit Bond, so you can take Ryan Gosling off that list. (They snuck George Lazenby through way before the interwebs - there would be no way today.)
It could be OL guy, although I don't totally convinced he's gay, though! he looked so coupley with some botox puffy-face actress at UK trainspotting 2 premiere just days ago, so Aidan or James are my picks.

I think this is Sam Heughan who really wants Bond. Aidan Turner is not on a pay cable show, neither is James Norton. I would not describe Hiddleston a pay cable actor. Richard Madden would not be considered A list and would be classified as a former pay cable actor ( has not done anything on pay cable since departing got in 2013) don't think it's him ( for either Bond or Doctor Who).

Who cares if he's gay. He's a great actor and a good-looking guy and, the most obvious contradiction is Daniel Craig is also gay and James Bond worked out just fine for him and his beard wife (can't remember her name...Rachael somebody.)
