Today's Blind Items - The Secret Baby
I guess if you think about the circumstances, this is not really that far out there or much of a stretch. This A- list mostly movie actor with multiple Academy Award wins/nominations has filmed multiple movies with this B list mostly movie actress who is foreign born but doesn't seem it. She also has multiple Academy Award nominations/wins. In between films together, the couple spent some time with each other. The thing is, that time they spent together coincided with a couple of things. A new marriage for him and a pregnancy for her. It was not that long after she gave birth that her partner left her for the first time and eventually left her for good not that long after. Why? Well, the father of the baby is our actor who, because he had just got married, decided to stay with his new wife rather than our actress. For a time the actress tried to convince her boyfriend he was the father, but that went out the window almost immediately. As the child gets older, the resemblance to the actor is pretty striking so someone will probably say something at some point. Maybe. I mean, the wife still has no idea.

I wonder if this is someone older. When I think of actors who are foreign born but don't seem it, I think of people like Amy Adams and Joaquin Phoenix. I'm drawing a blank on an actress who seems American but is foreign born, has at least one child, was left by her child's perceived father, AND has at least two Oscar nominations.

Don't think it can be Watts because it says they've made MULTIPLE movies together and they haven't. Thinking foreign born but doesn't seem it is either someone Canadian or American parents who happened to have had a child abroad. This one's confounding

Timing of Naomi's second child (2008) and Ed's marriage (2012) doesn't fit.

But he and his wife Shauna started dating in 2007
And he says think about the circumstances and not so far a stretch. It can't be Pitt, Denzel or Affleck as they are all A+. And it says partner for her, not husband and I think Portman is married. Matthew M seems to fit but Kate is American. Emma Stone American and no baby.

I don't think it's them but can I say, I love the Painted Veil? I knew nothing about the movie when I first saw it, just liked the three actors. The acting, music, story, recommend!

Doesn't the blind say that certain things coincided as in happened around the same time? A pregnancy for her, new marriage for him so if Norton didn't get married until 2012 that certainly wouldn't coincide with a pregnancy unless she carried the baby for more than 4 years before giving birth.

"Foreign born but not thought of as such" is either a Canadian or a US citizen born abroad (like Amy Adams). No clue who, though.

So it seems like you have to focus on a pregnant actress who is foreign born and work backwards. Amy Adams was a smart guess brought up here since she's born in Italy, but she's got a husband, not a partner, and I think they are still together. Cate Blanchett has/had a husband. Julianne Moore has/had a husband. Enty had to have been specific by saying partner, not husband.
Sienna does not have Oscar nom...I went to check all actresses that were multiple nominated and got kid in 21st century, No one fits the blind. Amy Adams is still with the same guy that is father of her child, Minnie Driver named father of hers too, Natalie Portman married that dancer to cover up baby from that guy that dates Jennifer Lawrence now. Cate Blanchett is also married to same guy from 2000, Kate Winslet's baby fathers are also all known and is married for the 3rd time. Naomi Watts and Liev split recently not soon after having child/ren. The one that would fit the blind the best especially looking at part - It was not that long after she gave birth that her partner left her for the first time and eventually left her for good not that long after would be Michelle Williams since the broke up 4 months after having a baby and then he left for good but she is not foreign born. Something is wrong in this blind or it was long time ago but then the kid would already be grown and not growing and looking more and more like father.
@justanothergossipgirl Exactly! The way it's written makes it sound more recent and none of the women fit in either best actress or supporting. Samantha Morton even, only one nomination and I think still with partner. Rachel Weisz was a good name someone suggested but she only has the one nom/win I believe because she was with Aronofsky a while, they had a child, but never married him so she's not multiple nor does she seem American anyway. SMH I agree it's gotta be written incorrectly.
