This famous American chef who spawned a hit sitcom tried to escape the pandemic last year by fleeing to his parents' birth country. It was, at the time, one of the safest places in the world to be. He first got into trouble for breaking the country's quarantine guidelines. They let that slide since he's such a big star and many people were proud of his success. He then got into more hot water for punching a perfectly innocent executive at a nightclub over a married woman who wasn't even interested in the star. He managed to skip town before being prosecuted. He's tried to spin his trip as a cool vocation vacation, but the truth about his terrible behavior is seeping out and he's likely to be deported or thrown in jail if he tries to visit again.
