Believe It Or Not
When I think of Beyonce I don't usually picture her in the back of the plane with the rest of us "everyday people." But in a recent interview she said she doesn't care if she is back in the cheap seats as long as people leave her the hell alone.
"Even now I sometimes fly economy if I need to. We had a storm in Miami and there was a hurricane coming so we just got out."
She adds, "You know the airlines where if you're fifth in line, you sit in seat five? And then they throw a peanut at you with your drink? I don't care about those kind of things. It's just that people don't give me peace, that's the hardest thing."
So, apparently if you sit in First Class it is ok to bother Beyonce, but if you are like the rest of us and want to see her, then she is off limits. I mean there has to be some kind of screening process right? She has to keep the commoners away somehow. What she didn't say in this interview was that she was probably in a window seat and had ten people surrounding her so I don't know how she wasn't able to enjoy her peace.
I do think also that she does care about those things like the cheaper airlines. Who here thinks she would have married Jay-Z if he always took her everywhere in the back of the plane and never sprung for First Class or a private jet. I think that would have lasted one time and then Beyonce would have moved on to the next person who was willing to to treat her like the diva she thinks she is.

I have seen Beyonce at JFK and she flys commercial. She goes to through the regular folks metal detectors and all. You would think with her and Jay's money they would own or share a private jet, like other celebrities but they don't, go figure
I am not going to blame her much for wanting to be left alone sometimes. Don't we all? I know her job is to be a public figure but eh, that doesn't mean she isn't entitled to the most basic of human desires, to not be hounded every single second of the day. If us normal people can't handle that at our normal jobs, and with our kids, then I don't think its so bad that sometimes she just wants to take a nap instead of signing autographs and telling hilarious anecdotes about being onset with Mike Myers during Austin Powers 3.
i keep my ipod on at all times and usually its not even powered on! i can see where she is coming from..its not like you can walk away on a plane from a superfan. most people are pretty cool but i can imagine there is some inbred jeds just...staring for 3 hours. creepy.
having said that if you ever see Beyonce on a plane, throw peanuts at her, she doens't care about those kind of things!

I don't like Beyonce. If she doesn't like people bothering her than she needs to use a disguise. If it wasn't for the people that buy her music where would she be now?
I don't blame her if people are walking up to her on the plane every 30 seconds. That would drive me nuts. Most people shove earbuds in their ears and close their eyes.
Then again, Hova needs to cough up some dough for a private jet.
That's what I'm screaming, mngddess--dude has serious money. But maybe he is conservative with it--I like that.
Shoot, I do kinda see where famous people are coming from with it, though.
I don't want people knowing what I do for a living while I'm driving down the road or in the grocery store.
My vehicle is bare of any ID for that reason but I have *colleagues* who will wrap their truck with their damn kids' names, faces and and measurements if it means drumming up bidness.
Don't bug me about work when I'm not on the clock!
