Pamela Anderson Does Live In A Trailer

It almost sounds like a punch line or something you have always wanted to say, but Pamela Anderson who the world has long suspected of having a Jerry Springer-esque lifestyle is actually living in a trailer. I was going to make some derogatory comments about trailer living but then realized that people have internet in trailers. Sure, they are probably "borrowing" their wireless signal from somewhere, or instead paying their neighbor $5 an hour for internet access but they do have it. But only until 10pm because that is when Earl starts charging $20 an hour because the men come over to watch porn.

If you think about this in an entirely stereotypical trailer way and in no way how I believe trailer people live, Pam has been married at least three times, had her ex-husband thrown in jail, was paid to have sex by a guy she later married, has an incurable disease, is a single parent, her parents disapprove of her lifestyle, and sleeps with her ex when she feels like it. Sounds like a Springer episode to me. All we need is a fight between Tommy Lee and Kid Rock over Pamela and she spurns them both and brings Verne Troyer out as her new man.

Pamela Anderson is living in a trailer because her house is being renovated. "I live in a mobile home and I love it! It's small but chic and perfect for me and the kids. It's fun having to sit on beanbags and do our washing at the laundrette."

Umm, has anyone seen photos of Pamela doing laundry outside somewhere? I thought she was living with Tommy anyway. Wasn't it one of those things where she lived at his place and if she didn't bring anyone home and he didn't bring anyone home that they had sex together that night? I seem to recall her saying that when she was doing press for her failed reality show. So, forgive me if I don't necessarily believe she is out there shoveling quarters into a machine and buying detergent from a vending machine. Yeah, I've been there. I know what it is like and I don't see her doing it.

I guess living in a trailer though does give some truth to the saying that when the trailer is a rockin, don't come a knockin. They must love her at the park. Hell, Earl though probably isn't making his $20 an hour at night now because everyone just tries to look through Pam's windows.

Ya, what's the deal? Did Tommy kick her out?

She sells off most of her belongings and now claims to live in a trailer and hangs out at the laundry mat? Something's fishy here. I think I smell a blind item.

Wouldn't she have dual citzenship, Jax? Don't be so fast to dump her down south. Obama has enough to deal with.

Actually dual citzenship is technically illegal so i hope she doesnt have it "dual". Seeing as how I had to turn down my country of birth when I turned 18, I'd be pretty pissed if she got to be both.

i'm sure her trailer trash fans will watch.

Bad Fish is having a dual citizen illegal with any country?

I can't stand her never could figure why people think she is sexy when you can see she is all trash.

sylvia, dual citizenship is legal here in america.

sylvia, here's a link that explains U.S. law:

different countries have different laws, however.

OK...I grew up in a trailer. We lived out in the middle of nowhere where there were no apartment buildings and we couldn't afford a house. I turned out OK. Not all of us are trailer trash. :)

But I would expect someone like Pam to be living in a hotel or some other place...unless she is broke. Didn't she sell off her belongings via auction recently??

Ummmm.... I live in a 1979 doublewide trailer in a trailer park on an indian reservation. And I'm a lawyer. Divorced too. Not quite the parent's basement, but what does that say about me?

Oh - and no tv because we can't get cable out here in these parts (on the rez) and my trees block any sattelite. So now I'm Pamela Anderson, huh?

writermommy and kara, i don't see living in a trailer as being the same as trailer trash. it's like not everyone who lives in wisconsin is a real cheesehead. having said that, i don't want to offend you, so i'll change it to jerry springer trash.

Thanks Molly for the info.

Come on people just because you live in a trailer does not indicate that you are trashy. Pamela Anderson is trash even if she lives in a mansion.

I flared up a bit at Ent ragging on *mobile home* living but after the last couple of days, I blew it off.

I have MH-dwelling relatives myself who are fine people, just lower-income, clean-living people happy to have a dry roof.

And we all know people with money in swanky neighborhoods who I'd define as Springer trash, which is a moniker I like cuz it's actually a much more succinct description.

I heart pam.

Enty, I grew up in a trailer park, and as unfortunate as it was (maybe it's different in Canada?) it really wasn't as trashy as people think. Although, now that I think about it, we DID have a lot of car fires and instead of putting them out the kids just roasted marshmallows.

;)

Oh, I agree that Pam is trashy.

I wasn't offended by the trailer trash remarks. Notice I put a smiley face at the end of my comment.

This is how the bickering among us starts...so I'll be quiet now.

IMO, Pam is soooo much cuter, cleaner and younger-looking without all the garish makeup and slutty hair and clothes.

She looks years younger in this pic, like a regular fit, attractive 40yo woman with kids who lives at the beach.

With all her vegan and animal rights down-to-earth crap, why can't she just go natural?

Dual citizenship is definitely allowed. It wasn't always that way, but the laws changed several years ago.

For anyone who had to forfeit their other citizenship, see a lawyer. Depending on when you arrived in the USA, it might just be a paperwork formality to have it reinstated & recognized by the USA.

Also, sometimes people are led to believe they no longer have citizenship in their homeland, but they do still retain it.

One other thing - Usually the native countries do not recognize the forfeit. Meaning they still recognize that person as a citizen even if the second country does not.

Funny, I heard about this a couple weeks ago.. apparently she's having her house renovated so instead of having to get all her stuff moved somewhere else, she said she liked having her space, and all her stuff with her, so she decided to get a trailer on the same lot as her house? When she explained it, it made sense to me..

And as a big city girl, moved to small town, some rural folks actually like living in trailers.. and for low income people, it makes more sense to buy their trailer than to pay rent.. so 15 years later all that money they payed out, that would have been rent money gone for ever, they actually own a roof over there heads.. which, once again, when explained to me, sounded genius

I see that several people beat me to the defense of trailers.
It is important to say that "trailer trash" is more a state of mind than an address.
We have 150 acres with 2 houses and 2 trailers. We live in the "big house" and rent the trailers and other house. Those trailers are so cool. They are about 1000 sq.ft, and everything is so efficiently ordered, sometimes I wish my big house was that organized. When we do not have a tenant in a trailer, we will have get togethers in them, and everyone loves it.
To conclude - for those of you who have not had the opportunity - it is great fun to go trailer shopping on the weekend. You may have to get further out of the city than usual, but if you find yourself in the country passing a mobile home dealership, stop in. You might be surprised at what you find!

For the record - I grew up fairly wealthy in the burbs and bought into the trailer trash idea for many years

mr. bunny has the idea of trailers being trashy, although we had always intended on retiring to a boat, with even less living space (until my joints gave out, that is).
now that we'd like to go somewhere where there are trees and such, i think i'm starting to win him over.
i've seen some beautiful mobile homes, and my house is an unholy mess, so which of us is "trashy"?
:)

i was one of those who watched her "failed reality show" until we did away with the cable in my house... the reason she's living in a trailor is basically exactly what robyn said, she is building her own home and it has ended up taking a lot longer than it was supposed to. the house that they were living in sold, and hey! you've got to live somewhere, so i guess she got a little trailer, put it on her property or tommy lee's property or something...i don't know... but i do remember it's because the house is taking an ungodly amount of time to be built.

and i agree with the person that was saying how much better and PRETTIER she looks without all the hair and makeup. i've always thought that, but i guess she feels like being "pamela anderson" is her meal ticket and if she stops being "pamela anderson" she might cease to exist, you know? what a weird mindfuck.
