Thanks, @Ray. I knew about the masculine/feminine, just wasn't sure they'd spelled her name differently...to be different.
She never beats around the bush, she says what's on her mind rather than being passive aggresive. She also does it herself, she doesn't need a spokesperson. For someone with such a fucked up ubringing, she turned out to be a woman with a good head on her shoulders. It's refreshing to see.

good for you Frances Bean! I had the displeasure of meeting that vile creature once when baby child was a toddler. I prayed that universe would continue to send Frances good nannies because that was the only way she was going to survive.

I like her. She seems smart and grounded.
I also, um, always seem to root for her mom. She's a fascinating person, especially when she's sober. And while I don't believe in carrying baggage around forever -- i.e., she's had all the money and advantages in the last twenty years to work on her sobriety and other issues -- she DID have a fucked-up upbringing herself as well. I dunno...I just figure anyone Stevie Nicks likes can't be all bad. ;-)

I watched Kurt & Courtney on Netflix last night. I think everyone but the filmmakers were smacked out. I think if Frances has the same questions everyone else does regarding her father's death.
I think both her grandmas had a hand in raising her and keeping her from the limelight. As a gen x'r I'm so happy she turned out somewhat normal

There are plenty of photos of Frances Bean out there - a lot of selfies on her twitter page. She went through an awkward chubby teenager phase but now she's very skinny goth chic with lots of eyeliner, beautiful blue eyes, and dyed blonde hair. She came into about $150 million on her 18th birthday in 2010 and now has full control of her father's brand. Looks like the courts kept Courtney away from her a lot of the time when she was growing up and she spent a lot of time living with Kurt's mother.
On a side note, what *is* it with all these selfies where people puff up their lips and stick them out? Looks stupid to me.
