“Absolutely not!” – permanent A++ list legend and EGOT winner on whether or not she’s considering that kooky former A-list singer to co-star with her in that long-gestating movie musical she’s been planning. She has privately met with that B-list actress/singer on a soon-to-be-ending almost network show to discuss the movie, and she’s completely set on her for co-starring duties.

I HATE the idea of Lea Michelle in "GYPSY" but Barbra S. as Mama Rose is great fun imo.(& let's face it Lea does look like she could be Barbra's daughter for sure) though there'll be No reigning in that gurl's ego if this comes to be.

I won't see or watch anything with Lea the Schnoz in it. Compared to Barbra, she's less than a nobody. She shouldn't even breathe the same air.

Actually I saw Lea M. with Skylar Astin,Jonathan Groff et al in "Spring Awakenings" a couple of times & she was great(they all were) buuuut, this was Pre-GLEE-Lea !!!

Lea wouldn't last a whole day of total humiliation on the set, it would be shocking and perhaps painful booby traps, irritating time delays, awful craft food mistakes.. and all kinds of bad surprise mayhem to suffer from Barbra's crew until she ran away in horror and checked her jangled nerves in rehab...
Oh,, Barbra, please, come to your senses. Ok the NO to Gaga, but why Michele? Well, she is talented in singing, but idk about her acting, that does't seem that great.She might do well, though, but after that, who will EVER stop her ego?
With apologies to all of you! But, I think Barbara (and/or Liza) can do any project they want with anyone they want. AND, they have preferential experience to be the biggest diva's in the world anytime they want. Go EGOT's!!!!

(Not trying to be super bitchy, I swear, it just irritates me when people try to shut down someone else's opinion on the internet just because their opinion isn't going to change anything. Like, why do you think we're all here? We can't change anything but hey at least we have a place to bitch about Lea Michele's arrogance and shallowness. Personally I want Babs to cast Lea and pay a pap to take pics of them drinking wine together, because you know Babs would drink the $25,000 stuff and slip Lea the 2 Buck Chuck while cackling inside.)
@mariaj - agreed. lea is a talented singer. But...I personally think she sucks as an actress. Maybe since it's a musical acting chops doesn't matter :-/ (another reason why I dont like musicals!) she seems like she wants to be Streisand 2.0 As talented as Lea is I don't see her succeeding outside of musicals/broadway. I just don't think she'll ever be as popular as she was on Glee again. I have a feeling also that scream queens is gonna suck...but thats just me. Also Lea isn't attractive enough to make the full transition to film star.

Think of all the things lea will learn during this experience. She'll reach new levels of diva-dom, but without an EGOT she'll just be a mega butthole
@Blade_glitter "I just don’t think she’ll ever be as popular as she was on Glee again." i agree with you, as we said, she is talented, at least in singing, but in Glee she was the focus, that helped her become the " star" of it, while outside of that, can she carry an IMPORTANT role on her own?Not to count, her attracctiveness : Is she enough attractive , physically, or talent wise or for charactere, to attract people? Someone has said that even Barbra wasn't exactly the most attractive woman in the world, but she was BARBRA FREAKING STREISAND, she might not be attractive physically but she had a GIGANTIC personality, one that you HAD to look at her, she knew how to pull focus, that supplied any lack in phisucal appearance she might have.While, Lea M? What personality has she, a part, they say, being a diva? Til now, she played easy, acting like a kinda of Barbra Streisand-character, but that can't last, even assuming that people would like a Barbra-copy.

Ms Streisand has charisma and talent (not my cuppa t, but still) Lea, however, despite being "the focus [of Glee], that helped her become the ” star” of it" and the added 'bonus' of the untimely death of her on and off (cough cough) screen boyfriend, hasn't managed to keep the momentum. She's a nobody and Babs should have an open casting and find some talent.
